Happy December, we are so very excited that the most wonderful time of the year is truly here!! My husband & I both cherish the holiday season & love the fact that we have a little lady to share it with now. There is obviously LOTS of fun to be had & we are feeling the spirit!
But first, let’s talk Thanksgiving!
As usual, this trendy turkey was the highlight (& focus) of our day! We spent the morning with just the three of us watching the parade & with some fall fun in the neighborhood.
I appreciate the fact that we are not yet required to make our own Thanksgiving dinner. As domestic as I try to be, let’s be honest, the thought of making an actual turkey is still just way too much. For now, we concentrated on this cinnamon butter recipe from Jessica at Little Baby Garvin & our own fruit turkey. I considered the success of each a total victory & better get my act together by Christmas … we have offered to host dinner this year! Not really sure what I was thinking there, do you think it’s too late to change my mind?
We spent the early afternoon & evening at my parents house eating as much food as possible & watching Waverly Maye run around like the lady on the move she is! It really was the best time & although I am always thankful to be her mom, it’s days like these that are the BEST reminder. 🙂

I am also so very thankful for the sweet comments & support for this blog! What started out as a digital scrapbook for Waverly Maye has turned into so much more. I am grateful for the friendships I have made & all the great advice that I get and cannot THANK you enough! I am so excited to have hit 200 followers a couple of weeks ago & have a super fun giveaway in the works to give back!
Stay tuned & thanks again. 🙂

We spent the rest of our weekend shopping, decorating & rockin’ around the Christmas tree & can’t wait to share later this week!! We hope that you all had the greatest Thanksgiving day & are feeling the holiday cheer your way. And of course, HAPPY CYBER MONDAY! I may just have to pick up a gift or two today!!! You know, for myself & a few others, too. 🙂
