It’s the month for love & something I love, probably way too much, is cards. I’m convinced that my family & friends think I’m completely insane, I really do try to send a card for most occasions. Not only do I have an obsession with stationary & pretty paper products in general, I also think that an actual, real-life card is just so special. Especially since pretty much everything else in our lives is technology-driven.
So what better opportunity than Valentines Day to send a greeting from us?! With Waverly Maye as the spotlight of course, we do know that she is the only one who matters anymore. 😉

My mom helped me with this sweet little photo-shoot a couple of weeks ago. Waverly’s entire outfit is from BabyGap, all from last year. I am so glad that somehow in the fog of having a new baby, I thought to plan ahead & stock up on some festive favorites after each holiday, all were on big-time sale & just one size up. Smartest idea ever, it saves some serious cash & also makes for an exciting moment when you unpack your decor & find cute baby clothes you don’t even remember buying.

Lucky for us, these balloons were also another win. Obviously planning ahead with a child doesn’t always pan out, but in this case, it did. Waverly was really into them & felt very proud to be the one in charge of them, plus they added some festive fun into the photos. I won’t surprise myself if I rely on balloons for every picture I take from here on out!

Our card is from Tiny Prints, I can’t tell you how much I love ALL of their products!! They have so many options to choose from, all of which are super cute, creative & very contemporary. I went with this style, my love of gold continues & was what sold me on it in the end.

These cards have now been mailed to our sweethearts, wrapped in their matching envelopes from Tiny Prints. I added a themed stamp from Micheals, our return address stamp from Etsy, & washi tape from Target. Waverly’s valentines for her grandparents, cousins & “little” friends are also placed inside theirs, we crafted these during the snowstorm last week. Or to clarify, I crafted them as I desperately tried to grab her attention long enough to place a sticker on or scribble a line. 🙂

Waverly Maye & I also send lots of love to all of you, we can’t thank you enough for your support of our blog. Your sweet comments & advice always make our day, so hugs & kisses from both of us!

Love your Valentines cards. So cute! We had a little Valentines Day photo session at our house this past weekend too. I always send out about 10 cards for the smaller holidays. Mainly because my kids great-grandparents (who are mostly widowed and shut-in) love to receive them.
Dying over how cute the entire shoot is!! I mean read balloons? Totally adorable! And those cards… Swoon! She's seriously the cutest!

I love how the pictures turned out! She is such a doll 🙂 Great job, Mama!
She is such a cutie!! I am in no way organized enough to get out Valentine's Day cards, but I love the idea!!
I LOVE your gold, glittery V-Day cards! I used to send a picture card of my first-born for every holiday. I'm a stationery lover just like you!
Too too cute! I just always love the thoughtful details you put behind every holiday letter you send out! I cannot believe how quickly WM is growing up! Before long she will be wanting to take pictures of you 🙂
So adorable! I took Clay's Valentine's pictures on Sunday and have been busy the past two nights crafting cards to get ready to send! I thought my family and friends thought I was crazy for sending a card for every occasion, but I've had several of them tell me lately that they love their Clay card collection!
These pictures are SO PERFECT! Ahhhhh, love them! We sent out photo V-day cards last year, but I didn't get to it this year. We're baking up some goodies and doing handmade cards/gifts for friends and family instead! Sadie LOVES balloons and I actually have some sitting here waiting to be blown up to use in some pictures. Everything is so dead, brown and BLAH here…balloons are the perfect (and easy!) way to add a pop of color to our outdoor pics! Now I'm motivated to go get some helium and blow those suckers up!
