The weather here has been ridiculously hot lately, too hot to do anything outside unless you are head to toe covered in water, and it honestly has me a little bit over summer and dreaming of fall. But this weekend it finally cooled down some, so we took the girls to a little farm near us to visit with the animals and to get ice cream.
My husband & I have a not-so-secret life dream of moving to the country. He’s always been 100% for it and I recently came on board, since I realized that even though it may be farther than a mall than I’m used to, now that I have kids all I do is shop online anyways. Our girls love to be outside, as do we, and the thought of all our kids growing up & making memories like this on a huge chunk of land is pretty magical to me.

I also wanted to share the details on the maxi dress I am wearing, which I love so very much!!! I have been a tried & true fan of maxi dresses forever, they are a go-to for me all year long. I just love how put together they make you look and feel, when let’s be honest, you are a mom and you really aren’t put together at all. 😉
The print on this one stood out to me immediately, the floral makes it summery for now but it can also be worn in the fall or winter with a denim or leather jacket. The dress is from Pink Blush, which also has a great maternity line, and actually this dress is sold in maternity as well. I am running a giveaway on my Instagram starting tonight for a $50 credit, they have so many other adorable options as well!! Good luck! 🙂

And hope you all had the best weekend!

ADORABLE maxi dress! Love the pics of the girls by the horse…it's like they are from a magazine!
It has reached those miserably hot temps here in Texas too! I am dreaming of Fall something fierce right about now. This farm looks awesome and you got the sweetest pictures. I especially love the one of the girls in front of that pipe fence where Waverly is wrapped around Avalon! So precious. Your dress is as beautiful as you are, friend!
I hear ya on hot temps. Ugh! It is nothing below 92 here in NC. I'm not readyoe summer to be ice eyes but it can cool down just a tad. Love the farm photos. Yor girls are the cutest!!
Beautiful print on that maxi! I'm not in love with the one I picked out, but I always forget to try things on before taking tags off and washing. Fail.
And, moving to a farm would be amazing! I'd love to do that with my family =)
Oh these pictures are so dreamy! I totally vote for you moving to a farm. We have one super close to our house that we visit all the time, and I simply love it!
