Trendy Tot Tuesday: Waverly’s Weekend Wear

Our weekend was full of family, friends, & of course, fashion.  This walking 13-month old is happy to show off her stylish looks … accessories & all.  The sidewalk at our park has become her own little catwalk.

On Saturday, us girls attended a shower to celebrate Waverly’s cousin that will be joining our family very soon.  The color of the day was blue & as always, we were more than happy to dress in theme.

The rest of our weekend was spent enjoying the final days of this warm weather.  I’m super excited for fall & the holidays, but being able to spend our days taking in sweet summertime has been the best.  Waverly LOVES being outside & I do, too.

The sight of those baby rolls sure doesn’t hurt.  I could seriously stare of those chubby legs all day long.  We won’t be covering them until we have to.

Although obviously, when we do have to … there are a couple of fall fashions hanging in that sweet girl’s closet.  Post to come. 🙂

HAPPY TUESDAY, Don’t forget to join Kelly, Megan & Lindsay for Trendy Tot Tuesdays!

She is killing me over here with the cuteness LOVE her dress and necklace in the first photos, but as always I love all her clothes!

Love her! Sadie has been taking little steps for awhile now, but just last week decided that it was time to really take off. She walks EVERYWHERE now. Waverly looks so happy in her pictures….is she beyond proud of herself over her new skill? Sadie is all smiles and usually very loud as she parades around and struts her stuff….she loves it! She's always a happy kid, but since she started walking, she's on a whole other level of happy! It's so sweet!

Trendy Tot Tuesday: Waverly’s Weekend Wear

PLUS ONE! 🙂
For this week’s Trendy Tot Tuesday, I thought it was only fitting to join my mini-me.  Not only did we have a fabulous mother & daugher weekend together (which is really every weekend), but we are also in a single-digit countdown to summer vacay.
Which in other words, means fabulous mother & daughter time ALL.THE.TIME.  Everyday.
I am slightly dying over the excitement.
On Saturday, we followed a morning of cleaning, packing & the grocery store (we are clearly party animals), with a cookout at my sister & brother in-laws.
My Forever 21 Dress No Longer Available
Waverly’s Shorts
Currently, I am addicted to anything with studs.  Even though my own closet has been full of them for a while now, it’s only been recently that Waverly Maye’s has been taken over, too.  I’m not sure that there is anything cuter than seeing my sweet girl in a feminine outfit with some rocker edge (shoes).  It kind of matches her personality.
On Sunday, we spent the morning at our weekly My Gym class & the afternoon at a friends baby shower.
Side Note:  Again, party animals.
My Forever 21 Jumpsuit No Longer Available
Waverly’s Dress
Because we hadn’t had enough, Waverly rocked a few more studs on her sweet denim dress.  And we had to pair that dress with some gladiator sandals.  Obviously.

There is no hiding from us, Waverly Maye.  We know just how much of a trendy tot you are!

Trendy Tot Tuesday: Waverly’s Weekend Wear

It’s already Tuesday?  I am linking up with Kelly, Megan, and Lindsey for this week’s Trendy Tot Tuesday.  Thanks, ladies. 🙂
Since the weather has finally decided to warm up, our weekends are on a new level.  I can’t say enough about how much this girl loves being outdoors, and her momma is no different.  I’m especially thankful for the opportunity to dress Waverly Maye in a warm weather wardrobe, as opposed to all covered up.  I could stare at those chubby little baby legs all day long.  And I do.
1 – Shopping In Style; Shirt, Shoes, Rufflebottoms:  Like every other Friday, we kicked off the weekend in style at the mall.  I wish I was exagerating, but I’m not.  We really go just about every Friday.  It is the perfect place to soak in those first few minutes of freedom, while checking out at the latest lines at all of our favorite stores.  My mom & I love to shop (total understatement.)  While we like to think that Waverly already shares that passion, I’m pretty sure right now – she just likes to take in her surroundings, touch anything & everything, and be the center of attention of the people who walk by.
2 – Party Princess; Dress, Headband:  I am a total outfit planner, and always reserve my favorite Waverly outfits for Saturday, since I can stare at her all day long in them.  This past Saturday called for a special outfit, since we had a 1st birthday party to attend.  I have quickly learned that (as of now), birthday parties are more for the parents.  We enjoyed some alcoholic beverages while Waverly showed off her cute Gap dress.
3 – Circus Chic; Dress, Shoes – No Longer Available, Rufflebottoms:  We were so excited to go to the circus.  And when I say we, I’m talking about my hubby & me.  Since it’s not so socially acceptable to go before kids, even though Waverly won’t remember this year’s trip, we jumped on the opportunity.  We (again) had a couple of alcoholic beverages to commemorate the occasion, and couldn’t get enough of watching Waverly jump up & down while watching the bright lights & action.  Future performer?  I’ve heard of crazier things that have happened.
                                                                                      Until next time, friends.
                                                                                                 XOXO

Little miss is the cutest thing! Those eyes are stunning. And she's lucky to have a mama who dresses her like a little fashionista. I have some utterly embarrassing photos from my childhood that I wish my mama would not have taken pictures of. haha!
