I really didn’t think I would be one of those moms who dressed to match her baby.
Or the other way around.
But something happened after giving birth to my baby girl in July. I don’t know if it was the immediate connection to Waverly Maye that I felt or what, but I just have not been able to help myself. So I am obviously fully admitting it. There are days that I completely, 100% plan our coordinating outfits. I have bought (on more than one occasion) an outfit or scarf simply because Waverly Maye had one that matched it.
Or again, the other way around.
My husband totally thinks I’m crazy. I don’t think so. Crazy would be trying to do this when she is in middle school, right? And I must point out that there are occasions that I don’t plan it at all, and it’s by complete accident that we look coordinated. I love those days. Who am I kidding? I just love looking like my girl.
