YAY for Trendy Tot Tuesday! I am linking up with Kelly, Megan, and Lindsey again and just love this opportunity to talk fashion each week.
I am pretty sure that visions of precious, tiny little accesories were dancing in my head the night that I found out that I was pregnant. Boy or girl, I knew that the little baby growing in my belly was going to be adorned. Lucky for me, our baby-to-be was confirmed a girl by the time I hit 20 weeks. I was obviously overjoyed, exhilerated, and ridiculously excited for many reasons. But in terms of fashion, I knew having a girl meant that I wouldn’t have to spend hours upon end convincing my husband that our baby just needed to be accesorized.
On a side note, if we do have a boy one day, that little man will also wear hats. Straw hats, fedoras, trucker hats, beanies … you name it. It’s certainly going to be harder to get my husband on board, but I’m hoping to find a way.
It’s rare that Waverly Maye is without some sort of accesory. Although I love her cute little head, I just can’t help but embellish it with a headband, hat, or bow. She just looks too darn cute, and additionally, I know that someday she won’t let me have complete say in whatever she wears.
