Thank you for supportive comments & suggestions on my post about Waverly’s sitter situation yesterday. One of my favorite parts about having this blog is being able to relate to other moms who have been through similar situations. It is so reasurring & helpful, so thank you!
Now on to talk about fashion AND a holiday, I’m not sure it gets any better than that! 🙂
We are officially nine days away from Halloween, and to say we are excited is an understatement!
If I’m honest, I really did not get into Halloween until I became a mom. Something about dressing up in a weird, silly looking costume was never that appealing to me. I think it’s because I really would just rather wear a normal, fashionable outfit (don’t judge!). Whatever the case, now that there is a mini involved, I can’t get enough. Just like everything else in life, Waverly Maye has made Halloween so much fun & so special.
Over the weekend, we hosted a soup & pumpkin carving night at our house. Naturally, Waverly dressed up in theme & was just the sweetest little pumpkin. She can totally pull the black & orange combo off, something I could never quite do.

Headband & Freshly Picked Moocasins |
My mother-in-law finished her costume over the weekend and I cannot WAIT to put her in it for the real deal. I just know she is going to have the best time trick-or-treating through our new neighborhood! By then, we will have visited every pumpkin patch in the area so I think she should have this whole Halloween thing down.
Spot all those teeth our little pumpkin is growing by the day?!!
Waverly Maye is our own, real life jack-o-lantern!
I really do think my girl loves a holiday as much as her mama, oh I love her so! 🙂
Hope everyone’s week is off to a great start!
Love the little hat!
