Ten & Eleven Month Favorites

The countdown continues & this little lady will officially be ONE in less than a week.

Waverly Maye has decided that she doesn’t need to be bothered with baby toys anymore.  She would rather stay occupied with IPhones & Ipads, remotes, cords, jewelry, and her current top choice, any drawer or cabinet she can find.   So even though we have enough to run a small daycare, our 10 & 11 month favorite list doesn’t include any toys.  Here is what we chose to focus on instead …

1:  Britax Marathon Car Seat:  A new purchase this week and a TOTAL life-changer.  I can’t believe we didn’t do it before.  Waverly has never been a fan of the car seat, and I have been experiencing the “mom guilt” every time we are driving for pretty much the duration of her life.  With all this extra room, she is SO much happier and it makes all the driving we do a much better experience.
2:  Baby Float:  Our water baby loves this float and with the heat wave we have been having this summer, it’s a total must-have.  The shade on the top comes in handy too, since my mini-me redhead was gifted with my skin coloring. (Sorry, Waverly Maye!)
3:  Johnsons Face & Hand Wipes:  These have been a diaper bag necessity forever, but the older Waverly gets, the more we need them.  My fashionista can be a bit of a tomboy which makes these necessary at all times.
4:  Superyard:  Another recent purchase that I am super excited about.  At first I was hesitant because of that (damn) mom guilt again, but Waverly actually doesn’t mind it & it has been used lots already.  There have been SO many times that Waverly is content playing and I need to run upstairs quickly to get something, and this makes it possible without having to tote her with me.
5:  Burley Bee Bike Trailer:  Love this SO MUCH!  Perfect to take your sweet little one to the beach, the park, or an afternoon bike ride.  There is plenty of room to pack pretty much your entire house … which let’s face it, moms tend to do.  Even Wild Waverly doesn’t mind being strapped down in this.
6:  Uppababy Stroller:  Although pricey, I would definitely recommend our stroller.  It comes with three attachments … a bassinet, car seat adapter, and the regular seat that we use now.  It is easy to use, comfortable for Waverly Maye, and super chic.

For obvious reasons, other big favorites of the moment are any child-proofing products that we can get our hands on.  It’s amazing how fast our little munchkin can wreck shop.
PS –  It’s now OUR house that she is being wild in.  We are officially moved in. YAY! 🙂

Can't believe it'll be her birthday soon! My girls also loved car rides much more after we moved them to their Britax seats

Isn't it amazing how fast a year can fly past?

We love our Britax- We got the boulevard and Aubrey loves it. She just got forward facing a little after turning 2, and that helps a lot for liking the car/carseat too.

Congrats on the house!!! I can't believe she is turning one. In all honesty, I think I was more sad than excited over Sadie's first birthday! I can't believe how fast they grow up and just want to savor every moment! Can't wait to see pictures from her par-tay!

We love our britax marathon and I'm really thinking about getting that superyard. My friend had one that we used at the dock at the lake and it was a lifesaver…but I'm thinking it would be amazing to have at home to and sit my son in there when I need to go upstairs. My little man turns one on Wednesday – so I know exactly how you are feeling!!! She's adorable!
