Happy Monday, hope you guys had the best weekend! We have been on quite the sweet kick lately, I’m sure it has something to do with welcoming back fall food, yet also, sweets are just our thing. Like if we could just skip right over the dinner part of meals & go right to the desserts, we would be all for it. 😉 Waverly LOVES to help me bake right now, it is definitely one of my favorite things for us to do together & it makes my mama heart so happy.

Over the weekend, we celebrated welcoming October with the best fall breakfast ever, pumpkin pancakes. We get the mix from Trader Joes, it is delicious & easy, both things we love when it comes to food. I know there are a million pumpkin pancake recipes on Pinterest, but who has time for that once you have kids?! This is totally the way to go.

And second to only food, our other love, fashion!! 🙂 My mom got Waverly Maye this peach sweater last spring but it was little big. I put it on her the other day & am obsessed with this color mixed in with the other neutrals of fall! Sometimes we tend to go too much with nude tones but I still love a pop of color this season too, especially for the little ones. How cute would the sweater be paired with this hunter green vest when it actually is cold enough?!

Also, what about those moccasins?!! SUCH a fun shoe, & Waverly loves them since they are super comfortable, we definitely recommend! 🙂 Have a happy week!

Ms. Fashionista!! I love her! And, I love that you use pre-made pancake mix…Seriously, who has time to whip up their own batch (besides Supermoms)? I am envious of them, though!! Haha 🙂 Have a great week!
I always end up with leftover canned pumpkin from other recipes (cookies or bread) and I just use that mixed in regular ol' pancake mix for pumpkin pancakes. Add a dash of cinnamon, call it a day. They aren't gourmet but pretty good. Love the photos of her baking, super cute!
She is sooooo cute! I love that you love having Waverly help you in the kitchen! That actually stresses me to the max with Mia, but cooking and baking (definitely baking) stress me out anyway. But Eric loves to have Mia help him in the kitchen. It's the cutest thing!
I made pumpkin pancakes from scratch yesterday (I even made the pumpkin puree myself!) and was TOTALLY patting myself on the back for that one, ha ha!
Those boots! My goodness! I am totally going to try the pancakes from TJ's!
Little kids cooking/baking in the kitchen is precious as is her sweet lil sweater!
Love the black and whites! Glad you had a good weekend!
We're lame and have those moccs in the fall boots AND not as tall boots. But this winter I foresee zero pants and all dresses/tights. So ya. And that sweatshirt! I die! And her helping you bake?! Sweetest thing ever!
My daughter is just getting into helping mama cook and I have to say it is my absolute favorite! Waverly looks so adorable in these photos 🙂 Also, pumpkin pancakes look delicious! I'll have to try those!!

Such a fashionista! I want that sweater for moi 😉
Look at her dropping cookies onto the cookie sheet! She looks like a little expert baker! It is so fun to have a little baking buddy, hopefully my buddy will learn to be as neat and clean a baker as Waverly. ha. Oh pumpkin pancakes! That sounds like the perfect way to welcome Fall! 🙂 … it's hard to beat a good pancake mix, especially with little ones around!
Those pumpkin pancakes sounds delicious!! And, those boots, adorable!
I just heard about that TJ's pancake mix this weekend. Must try it. Those boots are too cute!
YUM! She is looking so grown up and beautiful!
We are on a big baking kick, too! The extra "help" in the kitchen is so much fun. I love seeing Waverly helping you, too! You're making memories one dough/batter filled scoop at a time. 🙂
So so adorable!! And October???? How in the heck!! But I am happy! haha!! Yay Fall!
She is such the good helper! Look at how good she is at making cookie balls! Do you use a step stool for her to be able to reach the counter better?
I've been hearing such good things about pumpkin pancakes from Trader Joe's so I just may have to go get some for us!
