Now that we have had warm weather for a few weeks straight, we are knee-deep in all things spring & loving it!! I almost complained about being too hot the other day, then remembered how long we waited for this & decided to embrace it. I thought it would be fun to round-up some of our current favorite things, we can call them the “spring seven”!
1 – We decided it’s officially warm enough to break out the hose, Waverly is obsessed. Playing with the water has become our new favorite afternoon activity, she requests it as soon as we walk up to the door each day. Of course, she calls it “sila” (her word for all drinks). Whatever the case, she loves it so I do too, even when she turns the faucet straight towards me because obviously, spraying mama with water is hilarious. π

2 – We took Waverly to the farmers market over the weekend, such a fun spring activity! Everyone is in the most festive of moods, they are just as excited to be back outside after a winter of hibernation that we are. There is great local food, drinks & music, I totally recommend a trip to one in your area!
3 – We have had more than our fair share of fro-yo dates lately, there really isn’t a much better snack this time of year! At home, I have been giving Waverly these yogurt tubes each afternoon. We pull one out of the freezer & bring it outside, within minutes it’s thawed & ready to go! Snack time outside is definitely the way to go, one less mess to clean for mama!!
4 – The hubs & I have been making these wine spritzers for the last few spring & summers, they are our preferred treat of the season. Nothing fancy here, just mix your favorite red wine, sprite & ice. The amounts of each are obviously up to you, we usually go a little more heavy on the wine part. Depending on the kind of day. π

5 – Nothing says spring like a good floral, my all-time favorite print! There is so much floral goodness out there right now, it’s seriously dangerous & a little addicting. I am loving this dress for Waverly Maye, it’s so sweet & perfect for a little lady! And boy mamas, these floral shorts scream spring to me, your little men can rock this trend, too!
6 – It’s strawberry-picking season & we are so, so excited! It’s always been a tradition for us, even before Waverly was born so now it’s just double the fun. We are planning to take her ASAP, & naturally, I can’t resist dressing her in a theme. I am so excited to see her strawberry-blonde locks in this adorable barrette & have my eye on this strawberry swing dress & strawberry bathing suit, too. (Because it’s normal to go strawberry picking in a suit, right?!).
7 – Another daily go-to around here at the moment is still bubbles, although we haven’t yet worked out the fact that you are supposed to blow out rather than lick the wand. I’m optimistic for some more progress before the official start to summer. Also, Waverly is currently all about just laying in the grass & will go for it on multiple occasions a day. She can be such a simple girl (sometimes).

Yay for some warmer weather!
Finally some warmer weather (ignoring the fact that it's raining today!!)! I can't wait to hit up some local Farmer's Markets..SO FUN!
obsessed with farmers markets & breaking out the hose is genius! Our strawberry season is approaching too and I cannot wait ( even though Rae isn't much of a strawberry fan).
Yay for farmer's markets! Ours opened a few weekend ago and you can usually find us there every Saturday morning. Fabulous foods, bands, and we load up buying our veggies for the week. And "yes please" to the spritzer! I'll have to give that a try.
Love all of your "Spring things" – we took out the hose yesterday too… my son was obsessed. π I love a good spritzer too, YUM!
Such a cute and fun list! I just love going to the farmer's markets! Also, I'll be trying those wine spritzers π Thanks for the great idea!!

Ooh I have to add strawberry picking to our to do list!
When I was little I loved running through the sprinklers. Brings back such fond memories! Love that you guys go strawberry picking, I can't get enough of them these days!
Yay for warm weather for you guy! I thought the same thing last week, I can't handle 100Β° heat yet, but then thought, there are still people in snow, let me be thankful! The water picture on the feet, too cute!
Yay! We're loving the warm weather here too. I love that picture of her lying in the grass. Can't wait to go strawberry picking too!
Love seeing her playing in the water…she looks so happy! We almost bought Carter a water table this weekend and we decided it would just be another toy in the way and it would probably be forgotten to the dog's water bucket or the water hose anyways! π And he totally tries to eat the bubbles too….I thought it was strange but I'm glad to hear he's not the only one.
Love love love!!
So cute!! I will have to bust out the hose and those yogurt tubes for London next weekend! He'll love them…and I fully expect to get soaked! π
Yes be prepared. π He will LOVE it! π
Lol, we've only recently crossed over into non bubble wand licking territory and A is 3.5 ha!
That wine spritzer looks amaze. I'm totally going to have to try that sometime!!
I'm dying to have a yard so that we can break out the hose and sprinklers!! SO FUN! And Waverly's dress, DYING! Love her maxi's!
I've never been strawberry picking but I know I'd loooooove the fresh strawberry's! Yum! That will be so much fun!
Looks like Waverly is a little water bug!
The wine spritzer. Yes, please, I'll take two. π
I just die over her photos! She is just precious! I can't wait to try those wine spritzers! OMG.
So, after reading this post, I officially want to go outside with Caleb and a play in the water. With a wine spritzer. And bubbles. Such perfect spring/summer things. Love!
Sounds like you guys are doing it right! Bubbles are definitely a must!
For sure! Hope you had a great weekend! π
I'm loving every single thing about this post! My kids love going outside and playing with water too, it's the best activity and I agree about snack time outside – the best!
Such a fun list!!! We are pretty obsessed with all things water and bubbles right now too! (Lily also calls all water drink too) we had plans for strawberry picking a few weeks ago but sadly it didn't pan out! Wish y'all the best!
The wine spritzer sounds amazing!
Love the pictures of her with the hose! I'm going to get Sadie a sprinkler to play in this summer…we've been playing in her kiddie pool and water table but I can just hear her squealing picturing her running through a sprinkler! Loveeee Farmer's Markets, too, and pretty much everything else on your list! Cheers to warm weather and summer being on the horizon!
