I usually try to stick to more exciting topics than sleep on Fridays, but I’m sure most other mamas would agree, getting your babes on a good sleeping schedule just be the most exciting thing there is. I’m a true believer that having a good sleeper is a game-changer type of thing, because everything is just so much harder when you are sleep-deprived. Thankfully, both our girls are good nighttime sleepers, Waverly was good & Avalon is even better, she has pretty much been sleeping through the night since month one – insert biggest praise God hands ever here.
But then there’s naps.
First, yes, I fully realize that having a baby that doesn’t like to nap is a much better situation than one who doesn’t like to sleep at night. I’ll take it ten times over. BUT! Dealing with a cranky, overtired little lady at 4pm, when you also have a cranky, overtired & therefore extra wild toddler, is no fun. And so my goal each day is to get Miss Avalon Elle at least one solid nap in, extra bonus points if she looks this cute doing it. 🙂

A few weeks ago, our friends at Dock-A-Tot sent us over the Grand Dock to try and it’s been the greatest addition to our sleep routine & therefore, our lives. I had heard so many wonderful things about it and everyone was completely right, it keeps your babe so comfy and snug that they can’t help but to sleep well in it. The Grand is huge, it’s for babies who are 9 months to 36 months, and they also have a smaller version (the deluxe) that is for babies up to 9 months. In addition to sleeping, babes can lounge or play in it, which Avalon already loves to do! I’m excited about the ability to bring it with us on trips or if the girls stay the night out, we will be bringing it to my in-laws for Avalon to sleep in this weekend.
It’s pricey but worth every bit, can we all agree that there is no price limit on good sleep?!

You can get $10 off your purchase of a Dock-A-Tot here, sending good sleep vibes your way!

And wishing you the happiest weekend! XO
She looks so peaceful and comfortable! I wish this was around when Liam was a baby!
I love this 🙂 we might have to try this Chelsea @http://thewilliamsjourney1.blogspot.com
I've heard amazing things about these! My co-worker convinced her husband to buy TWO for when they visit grandma! There is NO pricetag on sleep…if we had a third, it would be my first investment!
Wow! That looks awesome and so comfy! Avalon is the sweetest little sleeper.
I keep hearing such great things about these! But alas, my babies are too big. I guess I need another baby?!
This is amazing. I would love to give them a try! I'd love to test out the theory on the Mabes. Her and Avalon need to have a pow wow. Avalon can give her solid sttn advice, and Mabel can help a girl out with her naps lol.
We all LOVE our DockATot! It's almost time for us to switch over from the Deluxe to Grand & I secretly wish they made an adult size version, too 😉 Looks so comfy!
Oh my goodness I am so excited to test our Dock A Tot out!! We got the grande too even though Bodes isn't quite 9 months old yet 🙂 I really hope it helps his sleep!!!
I would want an adult version of that. It looks so comfy
