Scenes from the Weekend

Three days is never enough for the weekend.  I feel like I am constantly struggling between being productive & getting things done around the house, or spending quality family time.
Which is why I am on the total “four day weekend” bandwagon, for everyone.  But that’s for another day.

This weekend, we managed to be successful at both.  We made some major checks off the ever-expanding house to-do list, thanks to my bad ass husband.  He really has been working non-stop since we closed at the end of June to make this house a home.  Though I’m sure I don’t always seem grateful (due to my Type-A nature & need for everything to be organized & ready like, yesterday), Waverly Maye & I are super lucky to call him ours. 🙂

On Saturday, me & my munchkin had a date to the park & to the farmers market.

It really is unbelievable how little we took advantage of all VB has to offer before Waverly Maye got here.  In our dating/engagement days, our weekends pretty much consisted of relaxing all day & the bars at night.  So yea, we definitely we had booze rather than babies on the brain.

After taking Waverly, I really can not believe I had never been to our farmers market.  Between the live music, homegrown food, local ice cream, & such nice people … it was SO much fun.  I really would like to go back each weekend for the rest of my life if possible.  I don’t think I’m the only one.

On Sunday, we attended a birthday party & fit in one more mommy & mini date before the weekend ended.  This time at the beach.

Did I mention baby girl loves the sand?

Or how much that I love her?

We hope that you all had a wonderful weekend!  We will be back tomorrow to talk fashion for Trendy Tot Tuesday. 🙂

Aw! I wish our farmer's market was that cool. We have a tent, with a table under it. Love the beach pictures, so pretty!

Loving her white lace dress! I'd live at the farmers market if I could and homemade ice cream is heaven 🙂
