Our kids are super picky eaters, and though I know we are supposed to just offer them what we eat, that doesn’t seem to work often around here. So sometimes, you just gotta do what works. These frozen meals have made the biggest difference for us, they are quick & easy, and I can make a different meal for each of my girls. They really are so good, I even ate one the other night when I didn’t feel like making anything for me. 😉
This is the year that I am determined to play more music in our home and in turn, less tv! Both my girls would sit and watch princess movies alllll day long (or Ben & Holly, or Sesame Street … ) if I let them and it’s totally a double-edged sword. I recently got a new Bluetooth player and have been immediately turning that on when we get home, and it seems to be great alternative to the noise from the tv, plus it just creates a better vibe! 🙂 I also love this for staying off social media, since your phone is literally hooked up and you can’t access it.
Just a quick shout-out for my new best friend, the I-robot!!!! I’m sure I am the last to the party on this one, but this thing has seriously changed my life!!!! We have hardwood floors and every day it runs while I’m at work, which is a total game-changer. The girls are also obsessed with it, it’s so funny, they like to run after it or just get down and watch it work!
And lastly, I always love finding new products to use, our friends at Logic recently sent us over some samples of their home, pet, and bath line, which is all-natural & toxin-free! We’ve been so happy with them so far, my favorite is definitely the shampoo since we are fooooorever trying to find a good shampoo that doesn’t tangle Waverly’s hair. They have tons of other options as well!

Love our I-robot. We have had it for a year now and absolutely love it. So nice to feel like my house is cleaned up a bit while away at work!!!
The i-robot!! I've wanted one since moving to our new house. I'm glad to hear you love it!
We haven't used essential oils, but were gifted a pack of three for Christmas. I think it's time we give them a try, as everyone seems to love how they work!
We have a a healthy selection of music channels through our cable, and let me tell you, those long, slow afternoons are made possible thanks to the kids station. So much boogie-ing and booty-shaking!
Once our floors are done I will for sure have to purchase the i-robot!! xox
It's so funny you mention essential oils! I've been seeing the diffusers everywhere and I'm so tempted to give them a try! What oils do you use so far? And we've been doing more music too. I found that Noah used to ask for a show and then play. I think he likes background noise so music is way better!
We got chromecast hooked up to our TV so now I can stream pandora through it and I just LOVE that. We love listening to good music throughout the day! (since we're home the entire time!)
I've been loving essential oils as well! I got a starter kit a couple months ago and have been slowly buying more. I use them every night in Mason's room at bed time and then for various other things. Best of all, they smell so good!
We are dabbling into essential oils as well. I have used them for Mason with his ADHD (we don't medicate him) and it's done wonders. Love oils!
I got a diffuser last month and I love it! I've always put a drop of Eucalyptus oil in our vaporizer when the kids are congested. It helps so much!
Oh, and I'm in the market for a robotic vacuum. I will check that one out!
