Love Day Fun

What a week it has been!!  Between the super bowl, Valentines festivities, & you know, real life responsibilities, life is craaaazy right now.  Busy and exhausting, but so full and so fun.  I’m determined to make the most of it, to make special memories for my girls, and to remember that one day, I will sleep again. 😉

We hosted the cutest playdate at our house, lots of sweets and treats and most precious of all, four little three-year old girlfriends.  Our own little lady’s world was pretty much made, she couldn’t wait to show her friends our house, her toys, and most importantly, her baby sister.  She also got an Elsa braid, so life was good, oh soooo good for Miss Waverly Maye.

I got some different paper, glue and glitter for the girls to make cards, but every single one of them was way too excited to stop for anything.  My husband left for most of the afternoon and said when he walked up to the house all he could see was little bodies running back & forth, our swing flying from one wall to the other (with a baby doll in it), and piles of toys covering every inch of our floor.  He made it right on time for a couple threenager meltdowns when the girls had to say goodbye to each other, even bribing them with some of the treats didn’t work.  Bless those preschool teachers.  It really was so much fun & I can’t wait to get them together again soon!

We also had Waverly’s Valentines class party at school this week, I absolutely love going to watch her do her thing in her classroom.  As bittersweet as it is, seeing her grow into this caring, affectionate, sweet and mature little lady is just the best.  She got Valentines from all her friends in class and couldn’t wait to open them when we got home, repeating all of her classmates names and explaining to Avalon what they all were.

Overalls & Clip

And speaking of Avalon, our littlest lady celebrating the holiday with a heart headband, standing like such a big girl in her crib.

Love these girls so very much.  And wishing you all a happy, happy Thursday!  XO

I love holidays even more now because of kids! We love having mini parties with our friends, though I agree that the kids usually just want to play and couldn't care less about all of our planned activities 😉
