Thank you for the sweet comments on Waverly’s cake smash pictures. We are counting down the days until our sweet sunshine turns one. 🙂
Other than Waverly’s first birthday, this summer’s obvious big news is the purchase of our first house. While completely exciting, this home ownership thing seems to be more stressful than I was planning on. My husband started our home renovation within an hour of getting the keys, which left Waverly & I living in 2 different houses for the past 3 weeks. While we are so appreciative of those helping around us, turns out living out of a suitcase with a baby isn’t the easiest. Good thing that baby is cute.

And for the most part, she is unaffected by this major life change. We hope to move her into her first real, legit home by this weekend & will share pictures soon!
*You know, after the dumpster, tools, & beer bottles are out of the way. It is total man’s land … for now.
The upside from being homeless & without my husband is all of the quality, mommy & mini time Waverly & I have had lately. The best decision I made this summer was getting season passes to our local water park. Waverly LOVES the water, and the park has the perfect kids area (and bar for the parents).

Gap Bathing Suit & Heaband (No Longer Available) |
The second best decision I made this summer was this bike trailer.
It is quite possibly my favorite baby item of the moment (and that’s saying a lot). Wild Waverly will actually sit in it, most likely because she is entertained by all she can gaze at while riding. It’s good exercise for me, and it has lots of room to pack all we need. The only downside is that Waverly Maye would rather hold her helmet than wear it on her head.
This heavy helmet clearly crossed the line of the crazy amount of head accessories I’ve been adorning her with since she was born.
And lastly, Waverly’s first summer smores experience was a success.

I think she liked them. Good thing we are currently undergoing a heat wave so she could be near naked for the experience. It was messy, but worth it.
We hope everyone is having a great July & staying cool!
XOXO
Love it! I know how stressful moving is and can't imagine it with a little babe! Her s'more pictures crack me up. Sadie doesn't like the marshmallows in them (the best part!), so she licks off all of the chocolate she can and eats the graham crackers!
Lovin' all of her cute headbands! Hope the reno's go well 🙂

That is the cutest with the smores!! I love it!
A headband to match her swimsuit? Cutest thing ever! Love the s'mores pictures too!
Love her in her bikini and bow!!!!
OH my gosh I love her bikini – she's adorable!
That bathing suit with those chunky thighs is too much cuteness, I love it!! Congrats on the house though, very exciting!
Congrats on the house! We've been looking for a house for what seems like forever. It's so stressful so I can't even imagine moving and a renovation. It'll be worth it once it's done!! Her polka dot bikini and baby rolls are way too cute!!
