Happy Saturday & more importantly, HAPPY NOVEMBER!
As sad as we are to say good-bye to the sweet month of October, I have to say that we definitely took advantage & soaked in every holiday moment this month had to offer. And the highlight of it all definitely came on the 31st, Halloween night!

Oh yes, Waverly Maye was the GREATest little ghost I ever did see! She totally took on the role (in the sweetest way possible!) & could not have been happier to dance around in her x-tra large tutu. 🙂
As much as I would like to, I really can’t take too much credit for this creative little costume. I originally found the idea on Pinterest before I even knew our baby-to-be was a she! Lucky for me, Waverly was AND I have a mother-in-law who is super talented and made this vision come to life.
Yes, I admit that I am a total fashion addict that can’t sew.
I knew the ensemble wouldn’t be complete without a fabulous headband, & as always, Jameson Monroe totally came through. This Halloween headband was beyond festive & with that and this leather jacket (similar here) in case of cold, our ghost girl was ready for her first official trick-or-treating adventure!

Waverly Maye had the BEST time celebrating & we could not have happier to watch her take it all in. She was literally screaming in delight, dancing through the streets & attempting to eat her candy straight through the wrappers. By the end of the night, she decided that real ghosts don’t carry around pumpkins & instead, hold every piece of candy in their hands. We may have lost some along the way but came home with enough for us to steal & eat.
Total life of a working mom, I was a little down about missing the day part of Halloween with Waverly while I was at work. I do know that she wouldn’t have known the difference between regular pancakes & ones cut out in the shape of pumpkin, but I am so fortunate to have a sitter that totally took on my festive mom role. Waverly Maye successfully had both a Halloween-themed breakfast & lunch. 🙂
As for this weekend, we are totally feeling the Halloween hangover, & not the kind from dressing up 3 nights in a row like in college. So we are relaxing, resting, & of course, gearing up for the EXCITING holiday season! Anyone else seen the holiday decorations out at Target? I’ll take it.
Enjoy your weekend, we LOVED seeing everyone’s costumes & cannot wait to see all the festivities to come in the next couple of months!
XOXO

The best ghost ever!!! I love it!
I love the tutu costumes. I think I need to get on that train next year, esp since Aria will be walking then. Waverly is so cute as a leather jacket wearing ghost!
