Four Days of Festive Fashions

It’s less than 24 hours until my (second) favorite holiday of the year, and we are totally feeling the excitement.  Though our life is currently the definition of chaos, and our newly purchased home looks like a firework went off in it, we will certainly be partaking in this sweet summer celebration.  Waverly, for one, is a complete fan of Independence Day and can’t wait for her first one.

Our plans include some much needed rest & relaxation by the pool, food from the grill, adult beverages, & of course, sparklers.  Truthfully, my hard-working hubby would rather spend the day painting our walls, but I am determined to get a hamburger & red, white, & blue drink in that man’s hands.  He deserves it & honestly, so do I.  Considering last year’s fourth I was so pregnant I was convinced that the real show that night was going to be by water breaking.

I’m pretty sure it goes without saying that we have a festive little ensemble already purchased for Waverly Maye’s first Fourth of July.  It’s been hanging in her closet, ready to be adorned for quite while now.  But since we love fashion AND the fourth as much as we do, one day just wasn’t going to be enough.  We decided that “four days of festive fashions” was just way more appropriate.

Can you blame us?  Of course, Waverly we will be rocking her Waverly’s final patriotic look tomorrow & we can hardly wait!
I did say WE.  This little sparkler is so ready to party.
Hope everyone has a safe, fun & festive Fourth.  ðŸ™‚
