Feeling 100% or not, the girl loves being outside. So even though she clearly didn’t understand or even realize that lollipops sticking out of grass were out of the ordinary … it was a welcomed moment. We will continue the tradition next year. Another tradition we LOVE? Making shapes with our food, for whatever holiday it is. Food & Festiveness? Nothing better. Well, except when you a have a tooth fighting its way through your gums and you don’t want anything else in your mouth.
She pretty much just stared at it, which is so totally unlike her. But at least its shape was cute. After breakfast, she managed a couple of smiles, which always melt my heart. Again, I know it was just for me as she knew I would have been crushed if I didn’t have anything for her album of chalkboard photos.

We made our rounds to visit family for Easter brunch. And while definitely not acting herself, our little socialite loved the Easter excitement.

We hope everyone had a HAPPY EASTER … and we also hope that the tooth rocking my daughter’s world will give her some relief soon! Any suggestions?

Love your family picture and Waverly looks cute, per usual! The magic jellybeans/lollipops is a cute tradition and one we may start next year. Easter egg hunts will be fun once the girls are walking too! Despite feeling lousy over the tooth, Waverly looks like she had a great Easter π Have you tried Hylands teething tablets? Sadie is still toothless at nearly 10 months but there has been a time or 2 when her gums have really bothered her and she was unable to sleep. They worked wonders and quickly became known as "magic pills" in our house! I hope she's sporting a pearly white soon and back to her normal self!
Thanks, Jess! Tried the Hylands today and they definitely seemed to help! And that makes me feel better that Sadie is still toothless, too!
She is so cute! Sorry to hear that she was working on teeth all weekend. Our little guy got the stomach flu, so our Easter didn't go as planned either. Oh well, there's always next year!
Poor little man – hope he feels better!
So adorable!
I second the hylands teething tablets! Londyn Grace has been working on her first tooth for three and a half weeks and they've been helpful! They are tiny tablets that dissolve quickly! She looked so precious in her Easter chalkboard picture despite her feeling yucky!
Three and a half weeks?!! Omg! Thanks for the tip!!
We use baby orajel too- it numbs it just enough for her to get some relief, and the teething tablets too! Have you tried the munchkin feeders? I bought them on amazon here (just search for munchkin feeder) and put frozen fruit in them. Our Ledoux loves it because it is cold and she can teeth on them for some relief…and the she loves the fruit taste! Good luck, I hate it when our babes teeth π
Such a doll! Her smile in the chalkboard picβ¦I die! As for teething, the Hyland's tablets and frozen teething toys have helped us a lot. Good luck! π
the easter bunny brought liv a toofie too! yikes!
looks like you guys had a good day :))
Poor baby girl and those mean ol' teeth! Everything looked adorable as expected π
Cute! Don't cha just love Easter with a little baby? It's the best! π
You have a gorgeous family & boo for bad tooth timing :/ hopefully it breaks thru soon!
