Easter Basket Inspiration

It’s our first Easter with both girls & I’m so excited to fill two (matching!) baskets for my little bunnies.  I’ve been rounding up some fun things for the last few weeks and thought it would be fun to share some of what I have so far, I can’t wait to see their faces Easter morning!
I found their baskets last year on clearance after Easter, Waverly had her own but I know she will love having one that looks exactly like sissy’s even more.  I always love the liners at Pottery Barn, they are so sweet & affordable, if you just go find a cheap basket that fits.  I’m still using my favorite glitter and printed eggs I got a Target a couple years back, but also have my eye on these new ones they have out this year!  I’m positive it’s crazy to get this excited over Easter eggs, but in my defense, Waverly has been reenacting youtube videos of eggs since the moment she saw them come out of the attic, so you know …

To fill the basket, I tried to stick to one thing to wear, one stuffed animal, and one puzzle or book.  Waverly got our favorite twirling dress from Alice & Ames, this time in blue for the spring, I know she is going to love it and I love that she gets as excited as I do for clothes lately.  And I’m absolutely in love with this book I recently found to put in Avalon’s room, the colors are so vivid & beautiful!

The biggest thank you to Oh Just Dandy for sending the girls this precious bunny, I already brought it out for them to play a couple days ago and they love it!  The print is my favorite and we will definitely keep it out year-round.  You may also notice this unicorn from the pillowfort line at Target, dressed up with a little bow. 😉

Please share any ideas you have for your own little ones baskets!!  And because I can’t kick off a weekend without these precious faces, my girls enjoying the beautiful weather this week.  It has been absolutely glorious, we hope it stays forever!

Happy weekend! XO

Ah! This just gave me all sorts of butterflies over the fact that this is James' first Easter, too! So exciting! And I'm also realizing just how little time I have left to get their baskets together! Oops.

Oh so precious! Those girls of yours are so cute! My 5 year old is wanting to start a garden this year so she has some gloves, a watering can and some shovels in her basket. The 20 month old could care less as long as theres food involved 😉

I was positively giddy when I was able to order coordinating basket liners this year! I cannot wait to bust those out and fill them up for Easter morning. I love the idea of just a few items per basket – simple and sweet.
