I wanted to stop in to share a fun craft that Waverly & I did this morning! I’ve really been trying to be intentional with planning activities that are fun for her, that keep her busy, and that make her feel special since they are “big girl” things, that sissy can’t do quite yet. This was a good one, and perfect for this time of year! 🙂

I know other mamas can relate, the number one thing that keeps me from doing things like these all the time is the clean-up afterwards. Especially now that I have two kids, far less time & only two arms! I teamed up with the geniuses behind the O-Cedar MicroTwist Mop to try our their product, and there was no better time than after our holiday craft. That involved paint. Lots of it. 🙂
I absolutely loved this mop! I never thought that I would care about mops one day (officially an adult!), but with both kids and a yellow lab, it’s so important to have a good one. The head of the mop is extra-large so it covers a ton of space and saves you a lot of time! It’s super absorbent microfiber head cleans up dirt (or paint!) the first time around and eliminates excess dripping. And storing it afterwards was easy since the head snaps in place!

The O-Cedar MicroTwist Mop is available at Amazon and other retailers, of course you can use your prime account & get it super fast and with free shipping! Happy crafting, cooking & cleaning! XO
What a cute idea!! Your ornament crafts turned out way better than ours! I might have to steal this idea (with plastic ornaments, of course). 🙂
Such cute idea! We did this with floor polish and glitter one year – they turned out great!
I did something like this the other day only I used little broken pieces of Crayola crayons and melted them with a hair dryer inside the ornament it looks so cute But I love the way the paint looks
The clean-up is always such a pain, and I don't even have kids yet! Your ornaments turned out great!
Super cute ide for an ornament and what a quick way to clean up.
These look like a fun and easy way to decorate some ornaments and have memories to look back on in future holidays!
Great idea! They turned out super cute. I think this might be a craft Mason would be interested in. The boy loves to paint.
I need that mop! haha
Cute cute cute! I think we're going to attempt the handprint ones next week haha should be interesting!
