December 1st :)

It’s officially December, and I couldn’t be feeling more festive.  It definitely is true that holidays (or life, in general) take on new meaning when you have a child.  I have ALW AYS loved Christmas, it is truly the “most wonderful time of the year,” and there has never been a year that I wasn’t looking forward to it.  But with that being said, this year, without a doubt, is more special than ever.  Even though Waverly Maye won’t remember sitting on Santas’s lap, feeling the branches of our Christmas tree, or feeling for the paper of her wrapped gifts … I can’t help but start our own family traditions and make her first official Christmas nothing less tham perfect.

As a result, I have planned to take in every solitary moment of this holiday season.  So in an effort to get all this “festiveness” started, we spent the first day of December at Christmastown (or what I like to call a magical, beautiful Christmas universe.

Take Note:  My husband is the only one not in festive attire.  I tried to get him a matching red & green outfit, but for some reason, he wasn’t into it?

Serious face!

Too funny!  My favorite picture from the day …
