Happiest Cinco De Mayo, everyone!! We hope that you had a fun-filled weekend & that you are kicking off this week in the best of moods! What better way to cure a case of the Mondays than with a margarita surrounded by those you love?!
I’m still waiting on my school system to recognize this holiday (& a few others) by letting us have the day off, but in the meantime, we took advantage of the beautiful weather this weekend to celebrate a little early. We had to dress in theme & I am loving currently all about peasant tops, this style is one of my favorites for this time of year. It has such a bohemian feel & is actually so versatile, I can’t wait to use Waverly’s as a cover-up for her swimsuits in the months to come. 🙂
(Or to see her cute little toddler body in a bikini, it has been a long winter!)
We are super excited to be able to give back to you this holiday, I know I say it all the time but we really are so appreciative for the support of this blog & I always want to find ways to thank you. We have teamed up with Freshly Picked Moccasins to offer one lucky reader a pair of shoes of their own! I could go on & on about how much we love this brand, their shoes are truly are so versatile, comfortable, & of course, crazy cute. I love the fact that they are gender neutral & that you can really pair them with anything. I have heard many moms with concerns on how their little ones will be able to walk in them, they are by far the most comfortable of Waverly’s (many) shoes, she loves them just as much as I do! I only wish we had found them sooner, those early months it was so hard finding shoes that would stay on Waverly’s little feet (I lost one random shoe on more Target aisles than I even want to think about). These totally would have been perfect, which helps me rationalize the fact that we have quite a few pairs, I am sure we will be using this collection for a while! 🙂
Stay tuned this week for more Freshly Picked pictures & fun!
