38 weeks, unbelievable! My mom mentioned the other day that no matter what, we will have a baby within the next three weeks (I was probably complaining, telling her I was convinced this child was never coming out, is to too early for that?), & although she was clearly just stating the obvious, it was so crazy (& fun!) to think about. I’m pretty sure that by this point, you just get in the mindset that you will probably just be pregnant forever, so it’s good to be reminded that it has never actually happened. 🙂

Size of Baby Brickner: A leek, on average, baby girl should be close to 7 pounds by now. I feel huge, like really huge, way bigger than I did with Waverly, but weigh pretty much the same that I did when I delivered her.
Maternity Clothes: Although it’s been fun to dress the bump, I’m officially ready to pack the maternity clothes away for a while. I got some nursing tops & bras this week, & am looking forward to a summer of comfy maxi dresses, shorts, & tanks that will actually fit!
Best Moment This Week: More quality time with Waverly, we went strawberry picking & to the water park since it opened over the weekend, both things I wanted to do before baby girl arrives since I wasn’t sure how practical they are once she is here. I am tired, but determined to make these last days count! 🙂
Miss Anything: There is a lot I miss right now, mostly being able to move & have the energy that I normally do. Yet I really am trying to focus on the positive, these last few days with Waverly Maye as an only child & having her little sister in my belly, all to myself for a little while longer.
Movement: Yes, big ones, but still not as many since I know she is pretty cramped in there. I am always monitoring them to make sure they don’t slow down too much.
Cravings: Salads & sweets.
Queasy or Sick: In general, a little nauseous all the time, along with a few other symptoms (that I won’t go into detail with, your welcome), that I feel like could be signs of labor coming at some point. Also a sign, although I’m not sure for me since I am a “nester” pregnant or not, I have had the craziest week of organizing & the biggest need to get things done. I drove to Target at 8pm the other night to get travel shampoo & conditioner for my hospital bag just in case I went into labor that night.
Looking Forward To: Meeting our littlest lady, of course!!
Lastly, Dr. Browns was so sweet to send baby girl a box full of goodies this week!! We are so thankful & excited about all these super cute, reliable products that we know will be put to good use, including bottles, pacifiers, teethers & wipes. They also sent this Gia breastfeeding pillow & cover, I am thrilled about it since I am definitely planning to breastfeed & know how important being able to position the baby is. This pillow was designed by a lactation consultant & is angled to help with digestion, reflux, & other feeding problems, all things I learned are a reality from my breastfeeding experience with Waverly.

*Dr. Browns (you can read more about them here) sent me these products to review but did not compensate me for this post. All thoughts & opinions are purely my own.
Looking great lady! She will be here so soon!!!
Love that top on you, lady! Sorry you're feeling sickish and have 'other' issues going on, that's not fun. Glad you had a great time at the water park. The temperatures in VA beach this weekend definitely called for water, I was out at a park all day though, drat.
What a fun giveaway!
Looking great! I loved Dr. Browns bottles with our first.
It's crazy because I felt much bigger with Vivian than I did with Caleb – but gained the EXACT same amount with both. I think the weight was just distributed differently, and I also think my hips got wider the second time:( Hoping they go back to normal soon. You are still looking adorable. Hang in there, sweet friend. You are so close!
I remember feeling like Odette was never coming out (I was pushing 41 weeks at the time). I think everyone feels like that, right? You are looking so great though! She will be here before you know it!! Soak up all your alone time with Waverly 🙂

I'm pregnant with my first baby and due this summer! You look fabulous! I'll have about 11 weeks or less to go! I've been keeping my eye out on the Dr. Brown anti colic bottle, dishwasher rack, and bottle warmer all of which are on my wish list! Congratulations only a couple of weeks until your precious little girl is here!
The bottles.
I'm expecting my own little bundle of joy in October and this would be awesome. I love Dr. Browns nursing pillows as well…and the teethers!
We used the bottles and loved them with Ellie. I think this next time around I'd like to get the nursing pillow since it seems much more comfortable
You look AMAZING!! And it definitely sounds like you will be in labor soon. One of my friends teaches a natural birthing class, and she has me come tell me son's birth story. One of the first things I tell them is that they won't be pregnant forever! Because it totally feels like it. I was convinced my son was NEVER coming out. 🙂
What an awesome giveaway! I have heard great things about their bottles!
I think you look lovely!!!
You are getting so close! Congrats! I think I would use the nursing pillow the most. My daughter was born 1/14/14 and I nursed her a little over a year. We just recently found out we are expecting baby #2, so all of those Dr. Browns products will definitely come in handy!
You look so good and not huge at all!! I am now OVERDUE and it's so weird to not know! I am just sitting here waiting…I keep running to Target, too, to grab something I need, Cam's lunches are packed and clothes picked out for two weeks and my bags have been sitting by the door for two weeks now. Ha! It's fun to be so prepared, but I hate waiting!! I hope you get some rest, although I know you want to spend as much quality time as possible with Waverly. I can't wait to meet your sweet girl!! (PS I LOVE Dr Browns bottles – they are my favorite! I just washed all of ours to get ready for pumping…fun!)
I have read some fantastic things about Dr. Browns bottles!
You look so great! I bet you're feeling ready to be done though, I laughed out loud at you going to get travel shampoo at target just in case! I know that feeling, nesting is no joke! I'm so excited to hear about the arrival of baby girl #2! 🙂 I would probably use the nursing pillow most if I won 😉
I have experience with Dr Brown's bottles and currently have them on my registry for my first baby due in October. I was unaware of some of their other products and am adding them to my registry as well. 🙂
Ashley, Congrats on your upcoming arrival! You look great!
Ashley, Congrats about your upcoming arrival!!! You look great!
Nursing pillow is the best for breastfeeding mama. Good luck to u and ur expanding family
oh my gosh, I felt like this went by so quickly. But of course I"m not there, living it. I'm sure these next couple of weeks will go fast! Good luck with the delivery.
I do love the bump, but it really is nice to get your body back afterwards too. And nope nobody ever just stays pregnant forever – just feels like that! Soon!
38 weeks! So close!! I feel like I could have written this post – sounds just like where I am at right now! And goodness yes to the nesting, I have been cleaning and organizing things I never do, but right now they must be done! I don't know if that's a sign or not, but goodness, it sure feels like one. And yes to all of the other things, you are not alone, Mama! And how fun that you were able to go strawberry picking, that sounds like so much fun! Enjoy these last days with Waverly, I'm sure she is loving her time with you! So excited that you get to meet baby girl soon! 🙂
You look amazing. Hang in there. The finish line really is SO close!
Please share the nursing bras you picked up. I have a few from my last pregnancy and I'm not much of a fan of them – like, at all.
Dr. Brown's bottles were our absolute must haves with Marcus. We tried SO MANY other bottles, and those were just the best for us.
I feel like that snuck up on us quick, right?! I can't wait to meet your new baby girl!
PS. Dr. Brown's bottle were by far my favorite. Even with all the little pieces to wash.
38 weeks!!! You're sooo close! I'm about 6 weeks behind you with our 3rd girl and now that you are so close to the end, it's starting to freak me out a bit too! Having 2 girls is the sweetest thing ever, I'm so excited for you!
And Dr. Brown's bottles are a serious must!
I plan to bottlefeed and have heard wonderful things about their bottles!
I cannot believe you're 38 weeks! OH goodness! Each week I wonder if this one will be the last before we see your precious little one! 🙂
you look so good!! Cutest prego belly 🙂 you're so close, I'm excited to see pictures of her when you post them!!

Ohhh how I'd love to win!! You and I have the same due date!!! 🙂
Nursing Pillow
What an awesome giveaway! Those teethers are so awesome! I never had anything like that with Abigail, but it seems like a handy thing to have around 🙂
Would definitely use the nursing pillow & pacifiers a ton!
I can't believe you're already 38 weeks!! I know that feeling at the end when it just feels like you're never actually having the baby!! You look awesome, hopefully she'll decide to come a little early!
probably the Gia nursing pillow, i wasn't aware that it was a Dr. Brown product but a good nursing pillow is an essential for me
The Gia Angled Breastfeeding Pillow would definitely come in handy! 🙂
Love the Dr Brown bottles.
dr brown is such a genius! what WOULDNT come in handy?! i think with another possible c section though, that pillow would help me out A LOT!
Your Looking great!!! Not much longer, but I feel you on the being pregnant forever feeling:) Crossing my fingers for the giveaway I think the pillow would be great to win doesn't look as bulky as a boppy!
Oh momma, I'm so sorry you're getting all the crappy symptoms! Sure signs that this baby will be here any day now! I am SO EXCITED FOR YOU!!
How do I get my hands on a box of Dr Brown's goodies?! This would be amazing for baby boy, you lucky momma!
My best friend is pregnant and I know she would love all these goodies. Love your blog by the way! 🙂
My first son loved all Dr. Brown's feeding products, so hoping baby #2 coming in September enjoys them as well!
I think we would use the bottles the most but they're all so useful!
I haven't used Dr. Brown's products before but I would love to try them!
I would love to have a breast pump before my new little man arrives.
I would use the nursing pillow, love the unique shape!
