24 Weeks

Size of Baby Brickner:  An ear of corn.

Maternity Clothes:  Yes, & thankfully, the weather is showing signs of warming up so I am getting so excited for spring clothes!  The outfit above is another maxi with a crop top over it, my go-to lately!  It’s so comfortable & versatile, plus I can still run after a toddler in it, all keys to the mom wardrobe.  The crop tops are from H&M (only $9.95, in-store), and the maxi dress is from Forever 21.

Best Moment This Week:  Other than the hubby working lots of overtime, we had a really good week!  Our appointment went great, baby girl’s heartbeat was as strong as ever & my belly measured right on track. Also, I had to go in for a second test for a UTI since my first came back abnormal, I had been nervous about it ever since, but thankfully, it came back with good news!

In other exciting news, I got two baby purchases crossed off the list!  I ordered the Solly wrap, which I am really, really looking forward to using after lots of great reviews from so many mom bloggers.  I had really been wanting a carrier that I was in love with this time, especially since I know I will need all the extra hands I can with two kids now.  I had both the Moby & Ergo with Waverly, we definitely liked the Ergo more, I never could figure out how to wrap the Moby right.  We had one too many moments with Waverly crying & me wanting to cry trying to make some sort of attempt to get her in that thing, even the 100 you tube tutorials could do nothing for me.  The Ergo we loved once she was about six months & used it up until close to her second birthday, but I’m hoping the Solly will be better for those early days!  Also, I got my diaper bag!!!  It was a total steal, a Rebecca Minkhoff that was $150 at TJ Maxx marked down to $50.  I couldn’t get it in the cart fast enough, I had really been wanting a diaper bag that didn’t look like one, I would have been happy with a regular bag with a lot of compartments but was even more excited that this actually was one (which I didn’t notice until we were in line & saw a changing pad!).

Miss Anything:  My sleep is still so off, and definitely made worse with my husband not being around this week.  I totally have the insomnia, which is the worst when you lay there wanting to sleep so badly & just can’t!!!  Also, these pregnancy dreams are no.joke!  I don’t remember having them with Waverly, but they are crazy this time!

Movement:  ALL of the time, all over!  She is officially big enough so I can watch my belly move now, which is the weirdest & coolest thing all at the same time!

Cravings:  Still yogurt & granola, which is still so different than the first months of this pregnancy when even the thought of them made me sick.  I had the biggest bowl of frozen yogurt (like really, the biggest) for dinner the other night & it was amazing!!

Queasy or Sick:  I have another cold this week, but overall, feeling good!

Looking Forward To:  Valentines Day!!  I am SO excited that it falls on a Saturday & that I get to spend all day with both my loves (plus the one in my belly!).  I have plans for some major girl time to celebrate the next few days, some baking & crafting which I know Waverly will love.  All pink, red & hearts ALL week long, yes please!  I can’t believe I will have two girls to do this with next year. πŸ™‚

Looking fabulous, as always mama. Love your outfit, so pretty!

That diaper bag is fabulous, what a score at TJ Maxx!

Your craving sounds delicious. Hope the cold goes away so you're feeling great for your Valentine's weekend with your loved ones! Have a great day!

    Youre looking great!!
Love that you got some purchases checked off of your list and that all seems to be good with baby girl's heartbeat and health!
Frozen yogurt for dinner?? Yes please!! πŸ™‚
Hope you have a good day!!

I have been eyeing a Solly wrap too! We had a Baby Bjorn with Caleb, and will be investing in an Ergo this time around, but I want something I can easily wear around the house. And will DEFINITELY needs my hands free while chasing after Caleb all day, lol! And congrats on the diaper bag steal, Mama! That's a great deal – and is adorable:) Glad you are feeling better!

That diaper bag!!!! What an amazing steal!!!!

I've considered the Solly for this time around too. We had a Bjorn with Lily and I absolutely hated that thing. I know I'll need something to be able to snuggle the babe and also be hands free. I'm having a hard time deciding between the Ktan (which you just put on like a shirt over your head) or the Solly. Then again, I feel like everyone is split between the Solly and the Moby. Ha!

Love your diaper bag!! What a killer deal! I won a Happy baby wrap in a giveaway and I can't wait to use it with our next babe! I totally want to get an ergo when we need something more sturdy (like for hiking) I just had a cheap carrier for Mia so I never pulled it out except to hike. I definitely want to do the baby wearing thing next time around!
Yay for Valentines! Eric actually works on Saturday (lame!) so we will celebrate on Sunday… but I think Mia and I will go out for our first ever pedicures together πŸ™‚

We had the ergo and moby with lex and NEVER used them. But the solly. Oh the solly is a dream. It's seriously amazing and I'm wearing this babe everywhere!

I want to try that baby wrap too! You'll have to give me a super honest review of it once you try it out!

Looking great, mama! I miss our text chats…we need to catch up! xoxo

I got a solly baby this time too and can't wait to use it! But I also bought a Sakura bloom ring sling and think I like that more. We are a no stroller family, so I figure I can splurge on a few carriers. πŸ™‚

You look great! Maxi dresses are the best maternity wear. That's pretty much all I live in (or leggings). And same here on the pregnancy dreams. They're so vivid. And people that I haven't seen or spoken to in years (or decades!) will make appearances in my dreams. It's like my brain is cleaning house and reorganizing everything.

  12. February 9, 2015 / 3:41 pm

Per usual – LOVE your outfit!
    That diaper bag is amazing!
The sleep… When does that happen again?? And the dreams (when the sleep actually happens) – they are so stinking bizarre!! I've had a few that upset me so much I literally woke in tears.

  13. February 9, 2015 / 4:54 pm

Oh wow! That diaper bag is a total steal. It was FATE!

I tried the Moby wrap for a couple of weeks. I'm really short, so it was always dragging on the ground, plus trying to get it on and off in 100+ degree weather was a total nightmare. I used Baby K'tan for about 10 months and it was the best!

  14. February 9, 2015 / 5:58 pm

LOVE that bag! I never wanted a "diaper" bag either so for both babies I have only ever used my Louis Vuitton neverfull with things like diaper and wipes compartments inside. It has always worked for me! Is it weird that I haven't even done a Valentine's craft with Charli or even thought about making Valentine's this year… I guess it has been because all of this snow which has not allowed me to get out and go shopping… Hopefully I can change my mind in the next couple of days!

You look more stunning each week! Adorable diaper bag!! Happy Monday. XO

We're LOVING the Solly, but it is still long. However, its super lightweight!! You look great, mama!

That is a great steal! We have the Boba and love it hopefully the Solly will work out nicely for you.

You look incredible! Who would've thought crop tops were so versatile for preggo mamas! I have a version of that same style RM diaper bag and it's my favorite! I love that I can wear it cross-body while chasing K around. And what an incredible steal you got it for! I definitely want the Solly wrap next time around – they look so cute! We used the Ergo and K'tan with lots of success, but the Moby was way too complicated.
