Size of Baby Brickner: A papaya!
Maternity Clothes: I am starting to feel really, really ready for spring & all the clothes that come with it, anyone else dreaming of maxi dresses?! In the meantime, the outfit above is actually a maternity jumpsuit from Asos. It’s super stretchy with plenty of room to grow, plus beyond comfortable! I thought it would be perfect to layer now & then wear when it gets warmer since it’s strapless.
Best Moment This Week: Date night with the hubs! We went & saw “American Sniper”, which is amazing & we definitely recommend it! The movie theater even had full-size recliners, which is a definitely upgrade since we have been last, so relaxing!!
Miss Anything: My brain.;) Pregnancy brain has hit full force, I think, or I am at least going to go ahead & blame all of this on that! First, I was cleaning the counters when I realized I was using butter spray instead of cleaning spray, I couldn’t figure out why all of the sudden our cleaning spray turned the color yellow? Then I left my wallet at the shoe store & didn’t figure it out until the next day. Finally, & definitely worst of all, I ran out of gas TWICE, I really hate getting gas when it is cold out so I try to put it off as long as I can. Thankfully it didn’t run out while I was driving either time, both times my car just wouldn’t start, but seriously, how embarrassing is that?!
Movement: Yes, & I love it EVERY single time! Waverly is more interested in feeling my belly these days, I cannot wait until she can feel her baby sister move, too.
Cravings: My appetite is just so weird, most of my aversions are gone but lately nothing sounds good, yet I am always so hungry. The thought of dinner every night really overwhelms me, I hate bringing Waverly & my husband down with me, but cooking is just not high on the priority list these days.
Queasy or Sick: No, feeling happy, healthy, & excited!
Looking Forward To: My husband has been busy building Waverly a big girl bed for the past couple of weeks, I am getting really anxious to get it in her room & to start that process! One of my best friends is also due with her first babe any day now, I am beyond excited for her & can’t wait to meet her little girl! I have loved being pregnant with several of our close friends this time, it makes me so happy that our little ones will grow up together! π
Ok, first and foremost… I want that jumpsuit and I'm not preggos! π You seriously ROCK the bump! And I can't help but laugh about the pregnancy brain… Totally a legit thing. That first time Waverly feels her sister move is going to be something you will never forget! It was by far my favorite moment when I was pregnant with Crew! And we are so much alike with the appetite/cooking while preggos… I had the weirdest appetite with both pregnancies and the hubby just knew I would not be cooking again until after baby… So cooking duty was on him the entire time! haha! And lastly (because this is the longest comment in history of comments) π Can't wait to see little things bed!!! Good luck with the transition!! xoxo
You look adorable and I love the way your hair is cut. Pregnancy brain is the worst lol. I work in a bakery and I used to mess up the cake orders occasionally when I was pregnant..thank goodness I usually caught my mistake in time lol. Can't wait to see the bed your husband built for Waverly! That is an amazing talent that he has. Lucky girl! π I once watched Marc try to build a cabinet, it was a disaster! lol
You look beautiful, as always lady! Love that jacket! Glad you had a fun date night, I've heard amazing things about AS!
Waverly feeling here lil sister in your belly is going to be the cutest thing, I can only imagine her face!
Hope you have a great day, stay dry and warm with this weather :)!
Oh my goodness, your pregnancy brain stories are hilarious! I always wait on gas too. Why not? Good to transition W to her big girl bed now. I thought "too many changes at once" when baby 2 came and that we would tackle it later. Then in our hospital discharge orders, the doctor said "oh and no lifting anything over 10 pounds." So, we had to abruptly transition her and it was awful! Oops. You look great!
Oh man I remember pregnancy brain… It's horrible! I am loving your style, that jumpsuit is so cool! I'm not even pregnant and I'm getting in a dinner rut where nothing sounds that great to me but I'm being lazy and not wanting to try new and more complicated meals! Have a great day!
YES, girl! Bring on the maxis! Can't wait. Best, loveliest, most effortless and comfy outfit ever! xx
I am having the exact same problem with cooking. I just don't want to do it at all. Nothing sounds good and trying to plan meals out a week in advance (like I normally do) is a total joke now, as I can't predict what I'll want 5 min from now, much less 7 days. Ugh. Wouldn't a personal chef be great? Lol. Loving your jumpsuit and your bump – so cute. And totally giggled aloud about the butter spray. Too funny!
Haha hilarious pregnancy brain moments. I've been having several of those myself and I am only 14 weeks along. Your jumpsuit is ADORABLE! Thanks for sharing π
Loving your jumpsuit! So cute! Pregnancy brain is one thing I never miss about being pregnant, nothing is worse. Except, you know, all of the other less than chic pregnancy problems. LOL.
Butter spray! Lolol.
I'm super bad about getting gas too. Jim usually fills up for me so I forget to even pay attention most of the time. Then some days it's like oops! I have no gas!
I rarely cook either. It's all good π
Oh my gosh, I totally LOL'ed at the butter spray! I feel so bad saying that, but seriously, too funny! Pregnancy brain is real! I sometimes feel like I still suffer from it but just call it mommy brain instead π
So want to see American Sniper so I'm glad you said it was so good! Might have to set up a date night soon and hit up the movie theater!
Happy Monday!
haha..pregnancy brain is totally a real thing!! π But, not wanting to cook is my 'normal'!!
You look amazing mama! Xo
Butter Spray, LOL. Oh the mommy brain…and the whole cooking thing, I hear yea. When I was pregnant with my second fairly certain my husband had scrambled eggs and my son had pasta every single night, I felt so awful about it, but what can ya do?
Oh mama, you look amazing! That jumpsuit is gorgeous!
Cleaning the counters with butter spray goes in the top pregnancy brain stories category. That's hysterical!
Oh, the big girl bed! How exciting! I can't wait to see how it turns out! I'm sure she will love it! We didn't build one of our own, but we did assemble one this weekend and the little guy loves it … and slept in it last night only, he moves so much in his sleep that he fell out and spent the rest of the night in his crib. I'm working on a solution to that problem… And I'm with you on fixing dinner. I just don't want to. I'm happy to eat cereal for every meal, but for some reason my hubs isn't a fan of that for dinner every night. I can't imagine why not…
I am so ready for Maxi dress season too! I do not want to buy more maternity clothes, especially since I'm not sure if I'll be pregnant again or not. And how sweet that your husband is building Waverly a bed!!! I can't wait to see it!
A maternity jumpsuit! How awesome! lol your butter spray story had me cracking up! Yes, go on ahead and blame mommy brain! And I hear you on the cooking thing lately.
xx Viv at JoieDeViv
oh man, butter spray! Pregnancy brain..gets you when you least expect it.
You are the cutest. It kills me.
Pregnancy brain – yes. I had a cart FULL at Target yesterday. At check out I realized I had left my wallet at home. So, that was fun.
We're also working on transitioning to a big bed. Here's to hoping things go smoothly!
Oh no!! Pregnancy brain in full force as well! Seriously laughing about the butter spray, totally something I would do!
I can't wait to see Waverly's big girl bed!! How exciting!
I'm so with you on ready for Spring clothes. The dark colors of winter are really getting old! You're rocking that jumper though, and you do look warm! It's been so cold here in NC lately. I can't wait to see Waverly's big girl room, I know it's going to be fabulous!
First of all, you are the cutest pregnant lady ever! Seriously! And yay for date night. We havenβt made it to see American Sniper yet, but we really want to. Weβve heard nothing but great things! And itβs crazy to think that he lived just one town over from us.
Such a beautiful pregnant lady!! American Sniper is definitely on our list to see…everybody has given it rave reviews!
you look radiant!
aww so beautiful with your bump!! congrats on this pregnancy!!
