21 Weeks

Size of Baby Brickner:  A pomegranate!  Baby girl is currently in the 33% percentile, she weighed in at 11 ounces at our appointment last week.  And the rest of the weight I have gained is from … ?! Kidding.  Kind of. 😉

Maternity Clothes:  My preggo leggings finally came in this week, I ordered them forever ago but they were on back-order.  They were totally worth the wait, they are high-quality, stretchy, & beyond comfortable!  I definitely recommend them, thanks to Laura for the heads up!!  Also, the outfit above is actually a crop top (H&M, in-store) over a long tank, who ever would have thought a pregnant girl would be in need of a crop top?!

Best Moment This Week:  Definitely our ultrasound!  The biggest thank you for your sweet support on our healthy & thriving baby girl, it truly means so much to us.  I can’t stop staring at her pictures or comparing them to Waverly’s from the same week, from what we can tell, they have very similar features!  I can’t wait to see in real life soon when my girls are together on the outside, in the meantime, Waverly holding on tight to my belly is close enough! 🙂

Miss Anything:  Sleeping through the night without needing to wake-up to go to the bathroom!  I am up to at least three times a night now, which scares me for how my nights might look a few months from now. Baby girl is VERY low, basically snuggled up to my bladder!

Movement:  I am totally that paranoid mama when it comes to movement, so it was a big relief when our ultrasound technician said she was moving ALL around in there!  Her hands & feet were going the entire appointment, which I guess erases my theory that she is going to be way more laid back than her sister. 😉 Of course, since then I have been feeling her more & more, plus this week my husband was able to feel her for the first time!

Cravings:  You guys, LUCKY CHARMS!  I had been on a roll with healthy goods again, then my sweet fellow pregnant blogger mentioned that she had Lucky Charms & I couldn’t stop thinking about them!  It was one of those “send your husband to the store to get them ASAP” kind of moments.

Queasy or Sick:  The round ligament pain has definitely arrived, but other than that, feeling great & loving the second trimester!

Looking Forward To:  My husband brought down the (many) bags of Waverly’s clothes from the attic, my plan is to get through them over the next couple of weeks to start organizing the nursery closet!  Other than being excited to get some more use out of them, I love the thought of seeing Waverly’s little sister in an outfit she wore!  I peeked through a bag already & it was so surreal, I could remember exactly when she wore most of the outfits plus exactly what we did.  Also, was she ever really that little?!

Hope you all had (or are still having!) a happy weekend!
XO

I went through tubs of baby clothing this weekend too. And while we won't be able to use nearly as much of Caleb's stuff as you will of Waverly's, I still enjoyed going through all of it and remembering just how tiny and sweet he was just a few short months ago! It was definitely an emotional task!:) Goodness. I tear up just thinking about it. You are looking adorable momma! Was so glad to hear the good update on your little gal after her scan. And I'm SO looking forward to hearing her name!:)

And Lucky Charms? STOP! I'll be making a trip to the grocery store tonight to buy a box (or 9).
