Groupon Coupons

This is a sponsored post; all opinions & thoughts are my own.  Thanks for supporting the brands that make this blog possible! #GrouponCoupons

You know we love to spend money around here, which also means that we like to save money - because that totally justifies buying more later, right?!  I might just be a believer in the whole "if it's on sale, you have to buy it, it would be wrong if you didn't!".  And I might just be raising two little girls who love shopping as much as their mama.

We have been big fans of Groupon forever, I've found so many good deals on there, mainly on fun events to take the girls to or a random good deal on getting my nails done (which happens once a year or so!). I was recently introduced to Groupon Coupons, which I love even more!  So many of these are fashion-based, stores that we all love and are looking for a good excuse to go to.

Some of my favorite deals right now, the ones at Nordstrom & at Canon.  Both places I would love to get Mother's Day gifts from, if anyone close to me that has a name that starts with the letter J is reading. ;)

You can find out more information about Groupon Coupons on both their Facebook page and their Twitter, and check out their last call here.  Happy, happy shopping! XO

Strawberry Picking

Over the weekend, we took the girls strawberry picking, one of our favorite traditions of the year!!  Last time we went, I was 36 weeks pregnant, hot as hell, and dreaming of what bringing both our little ladies would be like.  And of course, it was way better than I ever imagined.  These kinds of memories are the absolute best, the ones that make all the craziness so very worth it.

Waverly's Dress (Similar) - Avalon's Shirt
We came home with buckets of strawberries, some crushed, and made a steak & salmon dinner with the yummiest strawberry shortcake for dessert.  We have had a crazy start to the new year with my new job & things are finally starting to settle down, this little family outing was exactly what we needed and I enjoyed every single minute.
Even the random gas station we had to make a pit stop at for an emergency toddler potty break AND the strawberry stains I have been cleaning ever since. :)

PS.  One for the memory books, because I'm seriously obsessed with everything Waverly Maye says lately.  On our drive she asked Avalon what she wanted for her birthday (from her), then of course answered for her, "oh, a horse, I'll get that for you.  Or candy.  Which one?"  Because obviously they are exactly the same sort of thing.

PPS.  Kids hunter boots like the pair Waverly are wearing are on sale!!!  There are three options, these for toddler, little and big kid, and these or these for just little and big kid.  We LOVE Hunter boots, they are some of Waverly's favorite shoes to wear and they just make everything extra cute.

Pastina & Probiotics

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #MyLittleRemedies #CollectiveBias

Happy Monday, I'm excited to kick off the new week with a tried & true recipe that has been passed down in my family for many generations.  My grandfather is Italian and no doubt the cook in our family, some of my favorite memories growing up are days spent running around in their huge backyard and then coming inside to a kitchen table full of food.  All made with so much love! :)

One of my favorites was always pastina, a chicken-broth based soup that is simple and delicious.  We always had this, especially when we were sick, my grandmother would even drive it to my house, in tupperware & wrapped in aluminum foil with a hand-written note on top. ;)  Now they do the exact same for my girls, Waverly loves it so much and it's become a favorite of Avalon's as well.  The little noodles and simple taste just make it perfect for little ones.

Ingredients:  One 32 Ounce Box of Chicken Broth, Two Chicken Cubes, One Box of Orzo Pastina, Grated Italian Parmesan Cheese, Salt & Pepper to Taste.

1.  Put the chicken broth in a pot & bring to a boil, dissolve cubes in broth and reduce heat to simmer.
2.  Boil the orzo in water according to the directions on the box.
3.  Drain orzo and add to the broth.
4.  Add 1/4 cup of Italian cheese or your preference.
5.  Salt & pepper to taste.

And enjoy!

Even though my girls love this sick or not, it's definitely our go-to when any of us aren't feeling well.  Which this year, has happened more than ever, I think a direct result of Waverly being in preschool for the first time.  We have been trying to do everything we can to stay well, eating & drinking well, washing our hands like craaaaazy, and another recent favorite, the new Little Remedies® Probiotic Plus Electolytes.  These dissolving powders (which are berry flavored!) are great dietary supplements for little ones, they support digestive health and help maintain hydration.  And they are the only pediatric product that combines a probiotic and electrolytes in one convenient packet!  They contain no artificial flavors, artificial dyes, or parabens.  We've used Little Remedies products before and have loved them all, they are a great option for mamas who want to give their children the best, which I know is all of us!

You can find Little Remedies Probiotic Plus Electrolytes in the digestive aisle at Target, find more reasons to love them here.  And take advantage of a fun special offer, a $5 Target gift card for purchasing one Little Remedies product, which runs through May 14th.

Here's to healthy and happy little ones. :)  And wishing you a very happy week! XO

Spring Bucket List

I know we're already a few weeks into spring, but I thought it would be fun to share some of the things we have planned to get into over the next couple of months!  Being outside is our favorite & nothing makes me happier than the weather warming up after hibernating inside (or at Target) for what feels like forever.  I'm extra excited this year since I'm not in my third trimester of pregnancy, so I'm a little more mobile, and Avalon is old enough to actually enjoy most of what we do!

1.  Bike Ride.  We bought a bike trailer a few years back when Waverly was little, it fits two and I'm so excited to put both girls in it for some family bike rides!

2.  The Zoo.  One of our favorite activities, we are really looking forward to be able to do this again!  They also have a splash pad when it really warms up.

3.  Homemade Popsicles.  Love this round-up of two ingredient recipes, I know both girls would absolutely love them and I feel like if it's only two ingredients, it's realistic that I will do it.  And how cute are these molds?!

4.  Picnic at the Park.  We did this the other night on our back porch and then the following day for lunch, it was such a refreshing change.  Would love to try it at park in our neighborhood as well!

5.  Sidewalk Chalk & Painting Party Outside.  I'll be the first to admit that our afternoons of painting were few & far between over the winter, it's just so.much.MESS that the thought of it is sometimes too much.  But outside?!  YES! :)  Hope the neighbors don't mind the sight of two naked girlies outside painting soon.

6.  DIY Projects.  We have quite a few house projects we want to attempt, painting our fence and cleaning out the backyard are two of them.  And an inside project, my husband drove to Ikea last week to get the hemnes coffee table (since we love our dresser so much) and I'm so excited to hack it.

7.  Botanical Gardens.  Can't wait to do this!!!

8.  Wash our Cars.  We've never done this with Waverly & I feel like she would be all about it.

9.  Adventuring.  We've already been doing some of this lately, just spending time outside!  Our backyard is great for this, one of my favorite parts of our house.

10.  Beach Trips.  This is one of my favorite times of year to go to the beach, since it's not quite that busy yet or too hot to really enjoy it.  The girls & I have ventured there just to explore lately and it is so, so much fun, the perfect activity to just let them be free and tire them out for bedtime.

And a couple photos from yesterday, we pulled out our spring dresses for the sunshine and oh, how happy it makes me!  As do they.

What are some of your favorite activities for spring?!  And wishing you all the happiest weekend with WARM weather.  XO

Sister Similarities & Differences

I often find myself comparing the girls, or being surprised when Avalon loves something that Waverly hated or when she does something a way that Waverly never did.  Sometimes it makes me feel guilty (damn you mom guilt), they are two entirely different people & I shouldn't forget that, but at the same time, I know I can't be the only one.  As moms we are just trying to figure it all out, learning along the way, and once we get to baby #2 we naturally expect it to go down the same way it did the first time around.  Which is fine, sometimes we are relieved when it doesn't or others we realized how easy we had it the first time and regardless, we love every single little part of them both and wouldn't ever want to change one thing about either of them.  Just like everyone said, our heart literally bursts for them both and we have never felt it so full.

So I thought it would be fun to own it, to compare my girls at their ages so far, things we have noticed that are alike and then others that are so very different.  If nothing else, I thought it would be fun for them to look back on one day, it will be interesting to see how much of their personalities we could already see at such young ages! :)  And because I have to start a sister post with a photo of the sisters, one from yesterday that just perfectly explains their relationship.

Newborns - So different!  Avalon slept for about three weeks straight, we were actually googling "does my baby sleep too much?", which makes it pretty clear that we were not used to that because Waverly did not. She was awake and alert much more (and cried more) during those first few weeks.

Swaddles & Swings - Both our girls liked to be swaddled, but only for the first month or so.  They both absolutely loved the rock'n'play and took most of their first naps in it, plus this swing, these are forever two of my favorite products!  I've mentioned this before, but we are 0 for 2 on our babies liking the momaroo, though I've heard other people rave about them!

Pacifiers - Waverly looooooved a paci from day one and (please don't tell my pediatrician), still has them at bedtime.  We are working on that! ;)  Avalon has never liked them at all, in fact has always refused to even entertain the idea of one.  We like that so we won't have to wean her, but it was nice to have something to console Waverly with if she needed it.

Car Seats & Strollers - So our kids hate car seats.  As babies at least.  I've heard other people say how much their little ones loved them, how that's where they slept the best or that's where they could calm them down the easiest.  That was certainly not the case for us.  The good news, Avalon's grown out of it for the most part and obviously now Waverly loves being in hers, she's all about going fun places these days.  And strollers.  We had a good run for a while a couple months back when we got our double stroller, but lately the only thing being pushed in that is my shopping bags.  I can't decide whether that's my fault (I give in too easily) but that's just not how they roll, they would much rather be carried or explore on their own.

Don't be surprised if you see those kid leashes in my photos soon. ;)

Eating - Both girls loved to breastfeed and for the most part, are good eaters.  They both seem to love carbs and anything sweet the most - #theygetitfromtheirmama.

Sleep - Honestly both our girls are good sleepers, something I am so, so, so thankful for,  Of the two, at least as a baby, Avalon is definitely more consistent, which may be just because we have a little better idea of what we are doing this time around.

Verbal Milestones - Waverly is our early talker for sure, she talked early and has been ever since. :)  She was putting sentences together at a really young age and these days I pretty much feel like I am having a conversation with one of my girlfriends.  Avalon has waited longer, she has found her voice lately though and is babbling more than ever, those little baby sounds are my favorite, favorite!

Physical Milestones - Avalon sat up & crawled way early, she is just now starting to stand and I think she may be getting close to taking those first steps!  Waverly waited a bit longer for sitting or crawling, she started walking at her first birthday party, which we think is because she was waiting for an audience.

Temperament - Waverly is our spirited babe and Avalon is more go with the flow.  For sure!  Honestly we love having both, they complement each other so well & it makes it so there is never a dull moment!  I don't know if I could have ever handled two little ones as high energy as miss Waverly Maye, so Avalon's laid-back demeanor was very welcomed, and I'm also sure it just seals the deal that any other babies of ours will be extra, extra wild.

Play - There is no doubt that Avalon is just more into everything, even though she is much more laid-back, she is grabby.  Her little hands are on everything, nothing is safe, ever!  She also has no fear at all, she climbed up on our fireplace last week and took a face-plant onto our carpet, started laughing and tried to climb up to do it again.

Looks - As newborns, the girls pretty much looked identical, like sometimes I look back on photos and have a hard time figuring out who is who myself.  As Avalon has grown though, she is taking on more of her own look, most people say that Waverly looks more like me & Avalon has more of my husband in her.  Both girls had little hair as babies (but it grows!  look at Waverly's now!), Waverly's had a little more red to it and Avalon's is more blonde so far.  Their eyes are blue, the same bright blue, and it seems that Waverly has my skin tone (sorry sister!) and Avalon's is darker like my husband's.  As for size, their percentiles are almost identical, tiniest for height, tiny for weight, & high for their heads. ;)  Waverly is in the first photo & Avalon is in the second!

Mamas of two (or more!), what ways do you find that your babies are similar or different?!  Isn't it interesting how two kids from the same parents can do so different - it kind of shows how sometimes ultimately, your parenting skills just don't make a difference, right?!  Funny how that works.

Happy Tuesday, friends! XO

Fashion Friday: Florals & Dots

It's Fashion Friday & I'm super excited to share the set of headbands that I curated with Bumbelou Shop.  This is definitely one of my favorite collaborations ever, I know other girl moms can relate, bows are kind of a big deal at out house and it was amazing to be able to help on designing some!  Is it crazy to say, #lifegoals?! ;)

I knew right away that I wanted to do something purple, because still, one year & counting, it's Waverly Maye's "favorite color in the whole wide world".  She currently has one purple shirt (it's really hard to find purple!) and she asks to wear it every.single.day.!  And of course, I had to incorporate florals, the girls in matching floral headbands just melt me, so I paired that with a polka dot bow, a little bit of mixed prints, one of my favorite trends.

I am absolutely in love with how it turned out, Jenna did an amazing job of making my vision come to life and I only wish I had a pair of my own!

I have some images of the headbands in action, we've pretty much been wearing them non-stop!  Waverly in her big sister role just kills me, she now refers to herself as "mom" and won't let her "sweet girl" down.  Which can be interesting.  And Avalon's little face looking at Waverly.

I just can't.

The last one is definitely my favorite.

The biggest thank you to Jenna for working with me on this, her entire shop is absolutely adorable and I love the fact that she gives 10% back to children in need with all of her sales.  You can see her shop here & here is the link to purchase the headband set, you can get 10% off using the code SAVEWITHASHLEY.  Happy shopping, the set will only be available through Sunday!

And happy, happy weekend! Thank you again for your kind words and support this week, it really means so, so, so much!  Truly!  XO

Confessional Thursday

Happy Friday Eve, friends!!!  I'm excited to link up with my girl Jessica & share some confessions today, I've been meaning to do this forever and just haven't found the time. So maybe that's my first confession, I'm always wishing there were at least five more hours in every single day so I could at least come close to accomplishing all I want to.  Then as soon as I think that, I remind myself that it seriously takes every last ounce of energy to make it until the girls bedtime, which is about two minutes before  I want to curl up in bed myself.  So then I take it back.

Here goes, I confess that ...

1 - I sometimes (ok, all the time) forget how old I am.  It's seriously an issue, I'm 100% sure I've said it wrong more than five times and I just hoped to myself no one called me out on it.  And with that, does anyone else remember when someone in their thirties sounded crazy old?!  Thirty is the new twenty, right?

2 - I'm addicted to baskets.  Straight up addicted.  I know I've recently said this & then bought a new one.  Or two.  I literally can't stop.

3 - Three-year old vocabulary & language is my favorite ever.  Most of the time.  Some favorites, Waverly says "perfeck", pronounces everything with an "ed" after, I "lost-ed" it, and lately has replaced mommy with "my beautiful mommy".  Also, I will never grow tired of seeing little girls in tutus, ever.

4 - My husband had to work overnight this week & he knew he that I was so freaked out that he sent his dad over to sleep on our couch.  It's ridic & I need to grow up.

6 - Avalon had her nine-month appointment this week, one month late (second child) - and she is still in the fifth percentile for height and 20th for weight.  And I kind of love it.  She's still rocking some of her 3-6 month clothes and we're just riding that train for as long as we can.  And just for memory's sake, I have to record that Waverly begged me to let her take off her shirt at the appointment too, because "mom, I NEED a check-up by Dr. Anna."

Love these two.

7 - I want Birkenstocks.  There, I said it.  I know people have mixed thoughts about them, but these copper ones ... I would never take them off.

8 - I'm not on Snap Chat.  You guys, am I the only one?!  Just even the thought of downloading it pretty much puts me over the edge, I mean, one more piece of social media to keep up with?  Tell me it's not worth it. Or that it is. ;)

And lastly, a little PSA that I curated a headband set with the sweetest shop and it's for sale this week only!!!  The link is here, you can get 10% off your purchase with the code SAVEWITHASHLEY.  I will be posting some more pictures tomorrow but for now, this one in the floral headbands that are part of the set.
Give me all the floral headbands.

Enjoy your day! XO

Healthy Lifestyles with Tidewater Bariatrics

First, thank you all for your sweet & supportive comments on my new business and job.  It means so much and I am forever thankful for a community of women who builds each other up and is so inspiring.  Who runs the world?!  GIRLS. :)

Today the talk is all on weight-control, something that as women I think we can all relate to.  No matter your situation or body type, most of us have had issues with weight at some point, even if we don't talk about it because really, who likes to admit it?!  I recently mentioned my own background, most of my struggles came during college when I payed little attention to what I ate and the only exercise I did was walking to the nearest frat party.  After graduating weighing more than I did when either Waverly or Avalon was born, I decided to completely change my lifestyle.  And it paid off.  There really was no magic to it, I just made a conscious decision to eat healthy and be more active, and it's really made the biggest difference it not only how I look, but how I feel.

I'm so excited to share a Virginia business with you guys today, one that you don't have to be local to take advantage of!  Tidewater Bariatrics is a clinic founded by Dr. Margaret Gaglione, Internist and Bariatrician, that has individualized programs to meet weight loss needs.  Those of you in the Hampton Roads area who are interested and who have weight to lose would be able to meet with a clinic nurse & then Dr. Gaglione to determine which program is best suited for you.  You can find more about this here, there are so many great programs & also testimonials behind them that are both amazing and inspiring.

AND they also have an at-home program that anyone in the US can order from!  These foods are designed for people who want to lose weight but are also great for those who just want to maintain a healthy diet, I tried them many of them after a trip to visit the clinic and loved them!  For me, more than anything, I struggle finding the time to make something healthy, or even some days, just time to eat. ;) I loved that the foods provided on their site were easy and quick, two of my main requirements!  I know all of you other mamas can relate.

The shakes were one of my favorite things that I tried, probably because I have a sweet tooth and I love chocolate!!  They were easy to make and a great option for a quick breakfast to take with me on a preschool run, I am always looking for something like that since those days are just crazy.  They also have hot cereal and granola bars, which are totally my jam every.single.day, they keep me going and when all else fails, they always pull through.  These were great!

I tried one of their dinner entrees, and you guys, it took one minute to cook!!!!  Now that is something I can work with.  We sometimes have those nights when there has got to be a full moon because the girls are just cray and it's been the longest day ever and I seriously don't have one ounce of energy left to make something for myself.  Anyone else?  Well this was the best option for that, yummy, quick, and I knew it was still healthy.  Win, win & win! :)

If you are interested in trying some of their products, you can order anywhere from the US by clicking on this site!

And Hampton Roads locals who are in need of something more personalized, you can visit their clinic in Chesapeake, Dr. Gaglione and her staff are so incredibly sweet and I know you will love them just as much as I did.  The biggest thank you to them for having me, I was honored to be a part of such an incredible and inspiring organization.
XO

Changes & A New Adventure

We had some big changes over here at the start of the new year, ones that have definitely been an adjustment for all of us, but that have been exciting and crazy and wonderful all at the same time.  I haven't shared much until now, as much as I am an open book, I still try to be mindful of what I put out there and I really wanted all four of us to be in a comfortable place first.  Above all else, my husband & girls are my number one supporters and most importantly, my number one priority.  I know all of you can relate to that! :)

Right after the holidays, I accepted a position as a bridal stylist and officially put in my resignation to my teaching job.  Craziness!  It all really happened very fast, I never planned on leaving my school in the middle of the year but it was an opportunity that I just couldn't pass up.  Luckily, I was able to work it out to finish the semester with my students, while also working my new job, it was a few weeks of madness but we made it through!

I've always been a creative person, I love style and fashion and all the things that go along with it.  I always have, and as I've gotten older, I've only become more passionate about it, partly from this blog and being inspired by all of you. ;)  I also love the bridal industry, I have been planning weddings on the side since planning my own in 2011 (which is now linked at the top of this blog, look under pages!).  So this new position has really been the perfect fit, it has been so much fun to actually be in the industry I have been teaching about for so long, and even better to combine it with my love of bridal.  The company I am working for is amazing, I adore my owner and have already learned so much, plus have been able to be a part of so many amazing opportunities in fashion that I have always dreamed of.  I am the biggest believer ever in that "things happen for a reason", this came at a perfect time & has given me the ability to be even more creative at work and also to still be able to be home with my girls more than when I was a full-time teacher.  All of which has been amazing!

With that being said, I don't want to come off like we are in a perfect world over here. I always want to keep it real, and there are a lot of parts of starting a new job with two little kids (one who is still a baby), plus maintaining a home and being a wife and daughter, granddaughter, sister, friend, aunt ... that is just plain hard.  Like many of you, most days I feel like I am trying to pull off way too much and sometimes, not any of it very well.  It would have been way easier to stay at my comfortable job, the one I was in for eleven years, but I knew there was more for me and I wanted more for myself and for my family.  And more than anything, I wanted to show that to my girls, who I hope will do the same one day.

AND just add to the crazy, because why not, since working in this job I have gotten the motivation (and courage!) to officially start my own business!  Planning events is something I have always loved to do, it's the creative & artistic soul in me, and I'm so excited to combine that passion with work.  Ashley Brickner Event Planning & Styling is OFFICIAL!  I already have some weddings coming up in the next few months, I hope to add more, as well as any other kind of events and just styling in general.  I'm so excited about this new chapter, and am thankful to my sweet family who has been so supportive of it.  If you are interested in more information, please email me at abrickner1@gmail.com, I will soon be adding a link to my new website to the blog as well!

And because what post is complete without pictures, a few of my babies because they are the reason behind everything I do, I'm SOOOOO thankful I have been able to be home more with them more during this season of life.  Miss Avalon Elle stood up for the first time Friday morning, it honestly brought tears to my eyes, I was so proud of her & just so happy I was there to see it, which wouldn't have been the case if I was still at my teaching position.  Also, not for nothing, she has doesn't done it since which I am 100% ok with. ;)  I love them both with all of my heart, even on the craziest, busiest of days, and hope that they will always know that.

Hope you had the best weekend! XO

Fashion Friday

Happy Friday, friends. hope you have had the most wonderful week!!  We've been busy with spring cleaning & organizing over here, I officially got the motivation to do it and usually when that happens, I can't stop won't stop until it's done.  So you know, I've been drinking way too much coffee and going through both the girls closets & my own like a mad woman.  We packed away some, consigned some, took some to the goodwill, which means we made room for so.much.NEW.  I feel like it's only fair after all that hard work, right?!

The newest shoes to the girls closets are from Piper Finn and officially my favorite ever. I was sold at the mention of leopard and then the fact that they had a pair for both Waverly & Avalon, it was just too good to be true. ;)  We are in love!!

I'm a strong believer that leopard goes with anything, especially on kids who obviously can pull off even what big people can't, so these shoes have pretty much been on repeat since Piper Finn graciously sent them over a couple of weeks ago.  Not only are they super cute, but they are so comfy for little ones, which we all know is a make or break it type of thing.  Avalon's stay on her feet (can I get an amen?!), and Waverly can put them on herself, so these are seriously the best.  We truly couldn't love them anymore.

In addition to the leopard, they have so many fun options!  We love the blush and boy mamas, what about these camo?  Too much cute.

Be sure to follow @piperfinnbaby on Instagram for new styles & promos, I know you will love them as much as we do!  And wishing you all the happiest weekend! XO

Avalon Elle: Ten Months

It's double digits for miss Avalon Elle, our dream baby girl who just lights up the world around her.  She is sensitive, silly, curious, and just as she has been from the day she was born, FULL of sweetness.  We just adore watching her personality shine through and can't help but melt every time we see those beautiful big blue eyes.

It's true what they say, second kids grow at warp speed.  I thought the months with Waverly went fast, but there is just no comparison for how quickly it's gone with Avalon.  I'm sure it's because we are busier, that we have doubled the amount of kids, but it's also because the transition to two has just been way easier than one.  There is no doubt that the girls personalities are very different, Avalon is way more laid-back and go with the flow, and it's been the perfect pairing with Waverly, our wild child.  For the most part, Avalon totally lets her take the lead, showing her everything, carrying her, and just being the typical bossy but natural big sister (I would know).  We have our moments, but watching their relationship grow & seeing the unique traits in each of them has definitely been one of the most rewarding parts of motherhood for me.  It makes me want allllllll the babies. ;)

Avalon is so much fun lately, her favorite trick is waving bye-bye (with her hands to herself), and she also claps her hands.  She still says da-da on the regular, and otherwise just loves to yell to hear herself or to copy big sister.  She is completely content exploring all over the floor, getting into everything she shouldn't but being too ridiculously cute for me to care.  She can crawl like a boss and just lately has started pulling up on things & walking with a push toy, but really doesn't seem to have that much interest in standing on her own yet.  I'm hoping that means she waits for a little while to walk, I'm in no rush for that milestone and will happily carry her on my hip for as long as she will let me! :)

This girl LOVES to eat, which is funny considering we had a hard time getting her to at first.  She snacks all the time & just when I think she couldn't possibly fit anything else into that little body (where does it all go?), I sit down with a plate and she tries to swipe it all. ;)  Her favorites are ritz crackers and yogurt tubes I freeze for her, which seem to help with teething as well.  Her third tooth just broke through, so she's been a litter fussier than usual lately with that & her recent ear infections.  Overall though, even sick she is pretty calm and content, which is obviously wonderful but it can make it hard to tell when she isn't feel well.  We are still breastfeeding (YAY!), and it still is so comforting for her, which I love.  She sleeps every night from about 7pm - 6am, has a really reliable nap every morning, and sometimes a shorter nap in the afternoons.

I find myself always looking at both girls just amazed that they are ours.  I mean, we made them!!  Being a mom is just so crazy and so amazing and so tiring and just the absolute best, right?  I'm living my dream and I never want to take it for granted.

Happy, HAPPY ten months, Avalon Elle - you make every single day better than the last and I love you more than you will ever know.
