Our Week & Spring Styles

Happy Friday, friends!  Another crazy week down over here, one I really can't say I'm sad to see go.  My husband was back to working overnight again, which we all hate, on that schedule we really don't have any time as a family at all.  Waverly gets to see him in the morning but he isn't home for any of our night-time routine & we miss him like crazy.  Not to mention, I'm still ten years old, & sleeping through the night at my house without him scares the hell out of me.  My dad even came over to hang with us at the beginning of the week so I could actually get some sleep (love him), I think it's officially time for me to grow up now. ;)

We were so excited to reunite for a fun dinner out, until things took a turn for the worse as we promptly learned that Waverly had caught the flu.  She threw up all over us & the table at the Mexican restaurant before our food even came out, followed by a full night of much of the same.  Somehow we have managed to stay clear of this for the past two years, which I am so thankful for, there really is nothing worse than a sick babe.  My heart broke for her for days, though it finally looks like she is on the mend & we couldn't be happier!

On a positive note, we finally had one random, warm day this week!  It was seriously good for the soul, for many reasons we are more ready than ever for spring this year & it cannot come fast enough!!
.

In an effort to make spring come just a little bit faster (because this will, right?!), I thought it would be fun to share a few of my favorite current spring styles!  I was so excited to get Waverly these gold gladiator sandals last week, I know they will match with everything & I can't wait to see her little toes back out in them in the months ahead!

Printed Dress, Romper, Floral Shirt, SandalsTeal Dress, Hat, Sunglasses, Shirt, Shorts
I also wanted to thank you for such sweet comments on our snow maternity photos, with such a crazy week I have not been able to reply as I like to, but please know how thankful we are, as always.  Wishing you all a happy, healthy & warm weekend!!
XO

  1. I hope that she's feeling better!!! A sick baby has got to be the worst! :( So sorry for your little cutie!
You guys are so lucky that you got that one warm day. My best friend called me and told me about the 68 degree weather she was having and I may have shot her dirty looks through the phone lol (jk). I'm very very ready for Spring!
I hope you guys have a good weekend and that Waverly is feeling better!!

  2. I'm glad I'm not the only 10 year old! I'm so scared to sleep in my house alone. Thankfully Chris rarely travels but the one time he did I had my mom come stay with us!

  3. Glad your little gal is on the mend, poor thing. The flu is the worst! And hopefully you've managed to avoid getting it - being pregnant and sick is pretty awful too! LOVING those gladiator sandals, Mama. Just wish they came in some smaller sizes so that Vivi could rock a pair this spring and summer too:) Old Navy has had some pretty adorable stuff to offer this year - I've been pleasantly surprised!:) Wishing you a very happy weekend!

  6. Ok, is she 2 or 22? Seriously...she looks like she's pushing her own child in that stroller! Ahhh, throwing up is no fun, especially in public! Cam has done it three totally separate times...no fun for anyone! I am so glad she's better! PS I HATE being home alone...I always put Cam to bed then go right into my room and lock the door - I'm such a baby!! Haha!

  7. Oh no!! The stomach flu is simply the WORST when our little ones get it! So crappy! I'm sorry!! Hope she's totally over it now! Also- the night shift. Equally as crappy. Eric had his fair share of them and they were miserable. The worst was when he had to go back on nights when Mia was just a week old. Ask me how badly I lost my mind when he told me the bad news.... (I went a little crazy)
    Waverly's curls are the sweetest!!

  14. Oh no! Poor girl and mama! When the babes are throwing up, it is the WORST. I swear that is the worst when Mason is sick because they give you no warning :( Hope she's feeling better now!
Such a bummer that your husband had to work overnight! Honestly, I am so glad that Seth doesn't have to because I'm with you, I hate being alone at night! (side note : what does he do that he has to work over night sometimes? if you don't mind me asking... I don't know that you've ever talked about it?)
Hope you all have the BEST weekend! xo
