Florals & A Few Favorites

Happy Monday to you & happy, happy birthday week to Waverly Maye!!  I can't believe my baby girl will be two this Saturday, it's a little bittersweet but most of all, I am just so excited to celebrate the sweet little lady she is turning into.  We have a few fun things planned for her this week (because two definitely deserves a week), & of course, her party on Saturday!

In fashion news, we have embraced summer with lots of floral prints, much like every other season. :)  I've said it before, florals are my absolute favorite all year long!  They are such timeless print & I really don't think I will ever grow tired of them, for me or for Waverly.

Waverly wore this floral headpiece for our family pictures recently & oh, how I love her in it!  It's a little much for the day to day (not sure how acceptable it would be at Target, though I've definitely done crazier things), but it's so much fun for special nights.  And of course, when mama is wearing floral, too. ;)

There are always lots of florals to love out there, but I've rounded up a few of my favorites.  All can be currently found online & are great for now plus transitioning into fall!

Floral Cuffed Teelim Fit Pants, Patterned Dress, Patterned Shorts, Print Long-Sleeve Dress, Print Short-Sleeve Dress, Printed Pink Dress (Romper Version), Days of the Week Underwear
It's tough to find florals for you boy mamas (though again, don't put anything past me if we have a boy one day!), but these little shorts are pineapple print which is equally adorable! :)
Also, I had to include the big girl panties since we are the market for those these days!  I am so proud of Waverly, she loves wearing them like a big girl.  We are still working on the art of pulling them up & down, so we have been rocking lots of dresses to make it easier for everyone involved.

And lastly, even though Waverly loves fashion as much as her mama, I did want to get her some special birthday gifts for this weekend that involve some of her other favorite things.  I picked her up a couple board books & another puzzle at TJ Maxx this week (we always find the most affordable ones there), & also, we are getting this bookshelf (on sale!) for her new big girl room since she loves, loves to read so much!! :)

We hope you all had the best weekend, here is to another great week!
XO

  11. yay for birthday weekend, can't wait to see her party pictures and how you decorated. Love the floral on you. I just recently purchased my first truly floral thing and I sort of love it! Although it did involve stripes which could have been the reason I loved it so much.
