Fall Festiveness

It's safe to say we are officially done with summer & so very ready for FALL!  All it took was the weather to drop a few degrees and we broke out the sweaters & knee-socks for our favorite fall fashionista.

There really is nothing better than fall fashion.  I obviously love a good summer dress, but I love layering even more.  Being able to rock more than one fashionable article of clothing takes style to another level.  And you may not be surprised to learn that we do have a few fall-friendly articles of clothing ready for Waverly Maye.  Clothing & a few accessories, of course.

Besides the fashion, fall is loved in our house for many other reasons.  We obviously get excited for the festiveness of pumpkin-themed products, fall décor, & the closeness of the holidays (eek!  so excited!).  And as beach people in a tourist town, we count down the days until we get to "reclaim" our beach.  The traffic slows down, we can actually park, and best of all, relax on the sand without complete hysteria.

This weekend, with the feeling of fall in the air, we took advantage of the weather & a clear, open beach.  Our outdoor girl obviously loved every minute & the scenery was perfection.  The perfect start to our fall & a family outing to remember.

There is lots more festiveness to be had in the next upcoming months.  And since our summertime to-do list helped to ensure we took full advantage of the scenes of the season, fall will be no different.  In addition to our family walk, here is what we are looking forward to this fall ...

1.  A visit to the pumpkin patch.
2.  A fall family picnic.
3.  Pumpkin-carving & homemade soup night with friends.
4.  Bake fall goodies ... banana bread & pumpkin cookies?!
5.  Make hot apple cider & a fire in the backyard.

Exciting, right?  I like to call them the "festive fall five."  And I can't wait to accomplish every one of them.  Hope you all had a wonderful weekend & are as anxious for all that is to come that I am. :)
XOXO

PS - Stay tuned for more fall fashion talk tomorrow for Trendy Tot Tuesday!
